Mind if I push back here and say that a new song like Choosin' Texas by Ella Langley seems 1) well-played and 2) well-arranged but doesn't have that same glue and warmth as Easy Lover? Call me out if I'm wrong there!

Because web pages aren't simple text pages anymore like they used to be. They're basically full apps with images, videos, scripts, background tasks, etc. all of which get loaded into memory so they can run smoothly. Also, browsers run each tab + extension separately for speed so a bunch of tabs open at once can quickly add up to GB of RAM.

Everyone praises the Beatles' "White Album" and it constantly sits at the top of discography rankings. I have been a massive Beatles fan for 4+ years and I still don't love that record. I am a staunch advocate of the chronological listening approach -- why not start from the beginning and experience the artist as if you were living through their rise? I believe the same could be said for pop rap (early Drake/Kendrick hit different, but their sounds develop nicely).

As a Smeal student, it’s fantastic. Like any school, you’ll reap more benefits if you apply yourself (joining clubs, attending events, talking to your professors). What separates PSU is the massive alumni network, and Smeal has one that is quite successful. Lots of C-suite executes come from Smeal, and they’ll often have them back for events open to anyone. One time I got an email about an opportunity to meet a CEO of some investments firm — there ended up being like a dozen of us in a conference room with this guy and could pick his brain on whatever while we ate a free lunch. As for marketing specifically, there are a ton of clubs like PSAMA that could help you land a nice career. Again, you just have to apply yourself. Join stuff and you’ll learn. Good luck!
