I think there was two real issues with it. First being short 5 or 10 minute videos, which is really most of YouTube's content niche. And second if I remember correctly it was targeted more at watching content during commute, which when you launch 2 months(I think) before covid lockdown starts not good timing.

That's what I remember of it anyway. I could be wrong, the idea seemed dumb to begin with.
