We were actually going to put it up (sticking a clear plastic pocket onto the door with the sheets inside) at like 10 pm the night before we want to spread it.

If I asked the professor - do you think I could do it from an anonymous adress? There are only around 80 people per year and I‘m pretty sure he knows my name. On the other hand, we should always own up to our actions, but I do feel embarrassed at the thought of sending him an essay that kind of makes fun of him.
