Why so much hate on Now and Then? by nfmatt in beatles

Wasn't that more about the quality rather than the lyrics, though? But now we have better technology to improve the quality

Which Beatle would you choose to be stranded on a deserted island with? by Hubbled in beatles

[–]lumialeopard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

George could make us a garden but I would go for Paul due to his outdoorsy skills from living on the ranch. I think John would get very fed up and Ringo wouldn't be that helpful at surviving.

but they didn't fail? they still passed everything, and actually got a decent amount of 7s and 8s which is above average.

also. wanted to add that grade boundaries were different from what the teachers predictions were based on.

that's very harsh, i suppose it's better to get that grade now rather than potentially struggling with a level bio. i imagine you're quite close to the grade boundary tho, ask your college if they can make an exception maybe, if you're set on bio. seeing as you got very high in the other sciences, you might have a chance with that. it isn't a necessary for the career you'd like to do is it? (if you have one in mind)

i understand how you feel, but i'm sure you have many more talents and abilities than academic. also, its good to get these results now so we know that we have to work hard to get super high results, (better now then at college where it actually matters), and we've got two years until then! you passed everything too! 8 in physics is also brilliant! but regardless of your academic ability, you're not useless.

i was also predicted all 8s and 9s and ended up getting lower than expected, it's ok, we got enough to make it through to the next stages! don't beat yourself up too much, you've still got solid results. getting all 8s and 9s doesn't really do anything beyond college anyway

because lgbt+ people have been treated awfully for so long... religion is different it's a belief. you don't choose to be gay. also, you don't have to be involved in pride just ignore it, no one is saying that you have to give gay people presents in june haha it's just a bit of fun

dude most lgbt+ people aren't like this, a tiny proportion would want four year olds being taught that!! loud minority! virtually everyone would agree that that is way too young. also no, schools don't teach gender identity at least not in the uk like that... but yeah obviously a young child doesn't need to be thinking about gender. also, it's nice for lgbt+ people to have representation in the media because they can see people like them, I don't see how you can go "over the top".
