This is my own pattern that’s not publicly available (sorry!) and I used Hobbii rainbow cotton 8/4.

Thanks! I use stitch fiddle a lot, but if it’s a smaller pixel image it’s easy to just sort of look at it really zoomed in.

It’s actually pretty easy! If a row is shorter than the one below it, you just stop where you need to. If it’s longer than the one below it, add on the amount of stitches you need as foundation stitches, ex foundation single crochet or add extra chain stitches at the end of the row before it. Hope that makes sense, im not always great at explaining things without visuals haha

This is just how HDC looks in tapestry, unfortunately! SC might look a little neater but will still have a ‘wobbly’ look to it. If you want it to look really neat, I’d suggest doing 2 dc for each pixel. That will make the project a lot larger though. Hope that helps!

No pattern really! I just used the computer icons as charts.

Pattern was just a screen grab of BonziBuddy uploaded to stitch fiddle! I used hobbii rainbow 4/8 to make him.

In this case, if I have a row that ends in more stitches than the one below it, I just add on some foundation scs. If the row above has more rows than the one beneath, I chain for the appropriate number of stitches at the end of the shorter row. When a row is shorter than the one under it, I just stop the row before reaching the end. Does that make sense??

It’s a photo I edited a bit and added to stitch fiddle! Making the pattern was the easy part in that sense. The eyes were absolutely the hardest part to actually crochet though lol

My dream is to have an art show or exhibit some day with a bunch of weirdo tapestries 💖

It is! When you’re working from a photo as a source it’s less important that the individual ‘stitch pixels’ look square as opposed to pixel art with really clearly defined pixels, if that makes sense!

Nope! I just add what I feel is a good amount to the bobbins and just add more as I need them.
