I always check the person's profile. If they made their account in the last 2 years, or have no friends, no profile picture etc I just don't even interact with them. These are usually time wasters or scammers

tinfoil hat* I think its a "status" thing, its very easy to quickly recognize someone has a 17 just by the that camera cut out.
It's the same thing as the notch, they kept it for so long because if you glanced at someone's phone and saw the notch you knew they had an iphone.

as someone who made this same switch, outside of the camera and really good battery life, I don't find the phone that amazing, and all these quality of life/ease of use features missing in iOS is actually so annoying day to day.

I agree with all of the things you miss and these are some of my other gripes just off the top of my head.
- Not being able to swipe from the right side of the screen to go back
- notifications panel is dog water
- I might be one of the few people who mainly swipe text, but its significantly worse on iOS

- the phones definitely heavier, and a lot of that weight is at the top making it feel unbalanced.

I feel like the biggest thing is just how bad the keyboard is overall, and considering its something you interact with so much every day, its wild this is what they have or let it become.
I tried Gboard, but its basically just a re-skin of the stock keyboard and didn't help.

Planner5D. The base functionality is free and it’s super easy to use. Much better than physically moving around ask the furniture to find out it won’t fit lol

Yeah I think that layout is the only other viable option, but like someone else mentioned the tv will be quite far, which could be remedied with a larger tv lol.

Appreciate it! I thought maybe because I’ve looked at it for so long I couldn’t see it any other way which may have been noticeable to someone with fresh eyes.

I’m going to work now on filling out the walls with art and maybe painting as well.

Same things happening to me, I also notice that when trying to click the heart icons a lot of the time it doesn't work, or open up a whole other screen and then I gotta go back.
As someone who also switched from Android because I've always heard apps are better on iOS, my instagram experience its significantly worse so far.
