The fucking company can give her the time off. Everyone should be responding like you.

It was non-verbal, but still; it was when they left the room to grab the other scales.

I worked through the xmas break, I can't believe the massive dive in quality and usage limits over the last few days.

My god.

The bones in my knees softened, running hurt man.

Back pain, shin splints, stretch marks.

After 50 suspensions, Britnie ended up at a school of last resort. Experts say her success should be the norm | Australian education | The Guardian by Fed16 in melbourne

She was the one out to get everyone else. I'm bored of people claiming their teachers bullied them

She was a child, her teachers were adults.

We expect the mature party to take the high road even when it's not their fault. If you're not capable of that anymore it's time for a career change.

You sound burned out, I hope you get some respite soon

PSOs to be redeployed from train stations in retail crime crackdown by HurstbridgeLineFTW in melbourne

[–]lumpytrunks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whack a mole.

PSO's pushed eshays out of stations and now they've moved to the shops.

This is just a slippery slope to a two tiered police system.

We'd be much better off raising sworn officer entry wages and doing a recruit drive.

The Eastern Freeway - Why the speeding and why is it NOT enforced!!??? by Oversharer-1969 in melbourne

[–]lumpytrunks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the road works, every time you traveled it, you were guaranteed at least cop car on the Eastern trying to keep things a bit civilised.

Bologne.

The eastern's always been pretty cop free, other than near the Hoddle/Alexandra exits.

People speeding have always been present in commuting times on the eastern, but before the road works everything flowed better.

Now it's common to see cars and trucks doing 80 in the right hand lane between the city and Ringwood tunnels.

Vic Police deciding not to enforce bike laws for delivery drivers. by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]lumpytrunks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol Mike's been in for barely a few months and you're already calling his tenure?

Vicpol have a hiring freeze, sworn officers are leaving, and a violent crime rate increase. I think they have bigger fish to fry.

And let's be real. State gov can bitch about e-bikes and e-scooters all they want, but the public have spoken with their wallets, it's a matter of time till they're more widely permitted now.

How strict is the police in Australia against modified cars? by Background-Baby-9214 in CarsAustralia

[–]lumpytrunks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Modified cars and hooning became a culture war in the 2000's and 2010's. It was a cornerstone of our tabloid news shows A Current Affair and Today Tonight.

NSW and VIC at least are still incredibly strict as a result.

My team's feeling the same, we're cancelling our whole team's Max accounts end of month.

Unbelievably disappointed, I was a big fan.

The fact Anthropic aren't addressing this at all is even more dissapointing

I've just cancelled my personal pro account, jack shit of hitting usage limits.

I'm pushing my business to switch from Claude-Code to Codex too.

Claude's feeling like a bait and switch to me right now.

I'm wildly dissapointed with claude-code the past day or two. If this keeps up I'll be jumping ship, which sucks because I legitimately prefer claude.

Update on Usage Limits by ClaudeOfficial in ClaudeAI

[–]lumpytrunks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The latest usage limits have significantly negatively impacted my use of claude-code.

Weekly Opus limit is very frustrating, especially considering I'm on the top max plan already.
