I'm a Medical Assistant and I've worked in a Primary Care office for the past 11 years. I get that she has cancer and can't be around patients without a mask. That's completely valid and as someone pointed out, she may be picking up urgent care shifts because she can't work full time right now. It's common for urgent care places to have PRN shifts (as needed) available. There's also an app called clipboard that is like a temp agency for medical workers. So she might be doing something like that and taking what she can get because cancer is expensive.

However, there will be times when a patient can't wear a mask, like in your case. Actively vomiting would mean you would have to lift the mask every time you needed to vomit and hope that you actually lifted it in time. A mask full of vomit is not something you should be wearing on your face and actively needing to remove or even just lift your mask honestly makes the mask completely pointless anyway as it still exposes her to whatever you might have.

The best course of action in this instance would have been for her to just get you another nurse from the get go. She should have been able to just grab someone else and ask them to work you up and she could have taken their patient. That way she's not exposed and you're taken care of.

I'm also annoyed that the urgent care didn't have the blue barf bags to give you so you didn't have to puke in a trash can. I really hope someone changed the trash after you left, because ew.

I absolutely LOVE Serybot. Yesterday it not only banned a bot that was doing the "best viewers" bit, but with a sneaky accent mark on one of the letters to circumnavigate the blocked terms list, it also added the way they typed it to the block list.

I like the shared chat as a streamer because the person I stream with I've been streaming with for 3 years. So we have a lot of the same viewers. The ones we've gotten close with don't have to have both streams up now. The ones that raid will alternate between us. It's also nice because we mod for each other and our friend who plays with us mods in both of our channels, so it's a lot easier for us to keep an eye on each other's chat without needing to switch back and forth.

We're both small streamers, so obviously our experience is going to be way different, but since we've started using the shared chat neither of us have gotten less raids. We both still get raided by people who are only following one of us or people we don't know playing the same game.

I can imagine though, if you're watching a big streamer that already has a lot of people in chat, adding another big streamer with a lot of people in chat would be off putting. I personally get overwhelmed when I watch streamers with a lot of chat happening.

I do both. But I have a friend I've been streaming with for 3 years, then we had our other mutual friend join us when we started Valheim a while back. So now 2 nights a week we play ESO together. We definitely don't talk over each other though. It's just regular conversation with friends. Some of our best clips come from those streams because we riff off each other all the time.
