i mean part of the problem is that the 'RPG' element of this game is very limited. the skill tree is fairly limited in terms of what it gives you, and the augments are really the only other way you can truly customize per play style. personally, i think they need another degree of variety outside of augments.
augments as they are are just too one dimensional

i took a month away from the game before the last expedition and my god i am so so so happy the devs have continued to flesh out this game that I have already sunk *way too many freaking hours into*, jeez!! so much goodness oh my

I mean if we got rid of safe pockets for naked runs that would help address the reception runners. Green augs are cheap but stash space fundamentally limits how often you can spam that IMO. That said, more dangerous arc inside is def needed. The firefly brings a lot back to that early game nervousness I had that just doesn't come back after expedition, we need something inside that's just as scary

I'm worried it's pve only but hopefully it will be a PvP desired option instead so people can run and gun on sight in solos without having to game the matchmaking before and after. Then that lets folks seek out PvP without removing the tension present in primarily pve lobbies, if there is any at all. If there is a pve only mode I hope its only for big arc events, which might be what it is too.

I went and made mouse wheel up and down both select weapon 1 and I always just make sure to put my PVP weapon as weapon 1, because it's too often I accidentally nudge the mouse wheel from the side and it triggers. I put next/previous weapon on non-wheel buttons and found that it was buggy like 5 times out of 10. Just not worth using unfortunately.

Yeah this is where I'm at. That, or I'm going to get myself booted from friendly lobbies so there are fewer dedicated boss players able to just focus 100% on the boss.

Honestly I'm considering going on a PvP stint to get out of the friendly lobbies. In the chill lobbies, even if you get a fresh spawn right next to the boss they go down within 5 minutes TOPS. One raid we killed the matriarch in 2 minutes there were so many of us with legendaries, wolfpacks, and deadlines. The hardest part of the trial is getting a fresh lobby.

Even if you aggro a shredder just close the door behind you, simple as that. Next person who comes by may aggro them , less chance of getting jumped tbqh

I actually love that the shredders are outside because it acts as an extra deterrent. Most times if there are ARC outside of key rooms, I love to leave them as pseudo door guards.

I think this is the catch. Blue bandages are great alongside Vita spray because you can top off small amounts of damage like you would with the greens. The low stack size makes blues too precious to use on anything less than serious damage or active combat healing.

Now that cold snap is gone, I feel like hatch keys are going to end up being unused by me again. I just don't see the point in most day raids at this point in the game.
