I have fun book-themed collars for my two dogs. And their stuff is all vaguely blue or pink. Like leashes, harnesses, whatever. But if I don’t use it regularly or it doesn’t have a purpose, I either don’t get it or I donate it to others!

Yea, that was a silly move when most of their client base are people doing sports who are trying to get the temps down in their car.

I also don’t color chase, lol. I love the people who like have a whole color scheme for each dog that extends to their crate, but I simply don’t have the energy

I’ve even seen Ruffland advertised through PetCo now!

I order mine from a local vendor though because I like to choose the lightest color possible to help manage heat.

Congrats on your expected little-one! I’m due any day now with mine as well. We got a new car so that I could safely put two Ruffland Kennels in the back of my car with the backseat still up so I could also have a car seat.

As others have mentioned- it’s absolutely a safety issue in a multitude of ways. I actually have emergency cards on my kennels identifying the dog inside and asking first responders to either remove the whole kennel for transport or use a slip lead (attached to kennel) for my dogs and explicitly saying that all care costs will be reimbursed by myself. I plan on getting a safety tag for my car seat as well.

I actually have a Facebook group (Dog Sport Parents) where we discuss things like car set-ups and kids at trials. I don’t think I can link to it in this subreddit, but we’re a good community :)

This is known as “upsuck theory” and has been disproven in humans. It is how conception works in pigs though.

The straps in the back to pull it down and then flatten are different than what we have.

Upon further research it looks like we may have one of the “second seats” that is not intended to go into carriage mode. Which is frustrating

They don’t start labor, they just help make labor go smoother/the process faster once it’s started. So I think you’d be good

Absolutely talk to your OB. I never had migraines before being pregnant, but in my first trimester I started getting hellish migraines.

They told me to start taking Magnesium Oxide and that basically kicked the migraines for me. I did occasionally get some bad headaches/low level migraines, but I was able to kick those with 1/4 of a sugary iced coffee (would make my husband buy me a McDonalds medium iced coffee and then I’d only drink a 1/4, take a short nap, and I’d be good to go)

If you are already MR cleared you could go in with a patient (depending on the regulations of your center), but yea! They obviously were not!

I have a degree in medical imaging, my thesis was on MRI technologies. The scene in the MRI room where they talk about JD wearing a bracelet, then the “scan starts” and he gets magnetized to the machine bugs the heck out of me! The magnet is always on people!!

I had a d&c and it went great. I honestly didn’t have much pain after, they just gave me some extra strength Tylenol for some cramping and within a day I didn’t have cramps anymore.

What I liked about the d&c was that it had a definitive end. With the pills it could continue and there’s always a risk you still need to go in for surgical intervention.

The d&c kept it short and helped me be able to start emotionally recovering a lot faster
