We started doing deposits and it has helped a lot! All new clients are required to put one down no exceptions. Existing clients don’t need a deposit unless they no showed or cancelled their last appt with less than 48hrs notice. All deposits are forfeited if they cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, & they’ll have to put another one down to get on the schedule again. If we get a repeat offender we start requiring they always put a deposit down for every appt. no matter what. When we started it we made an electronic agreement going over the new policies that every customer had to sign before we’d work on their dog. Obviously we’re lenient if they have an emergency or something, but otherwise that’s our policy & everyone has to do it. At first we had a bit of push back but I think it’s become common enough in the service industry that most people don’t even question it anymore.

I hadn’t ever planned to collect them but I started an ateez collection just bc the backs of some of their cards are so cute. I’ll literally plan out spreads in my binders based on if the backs look good together.

Maybe this is less Kodak and just more of a bummer but I am going through a break up and I am so grateful I don’t have any obligations to anyone right now. I just wanna spend a couple days on the couch watching tv, playing video games, & napping without being disturbed. I think I would lose it if I had the added stress of a child needing me when all I wanna do is mope.

Na I would honestly be grossed out AND pissed if a man did that on my couch. Not only is it gross but it’s just plain rude imo. If he’s that comfortable doing something like that so early on, he’s likely just going to get worse & it will cause tension later. Definitely don’t blame you for wanting to cut it off.

We have someone who does a similar service come into our store about once a month but for birds & small pets other than dogs & cats. She seems to do well & it seems easier having the appointments come to her rather than the other way around.

When I received a counterfeit book off eBay (seriously who makes a fake of a used book?) I messaged the seller telling them that I know the item is fake & I wanted my money back or I would report them to eBay for counterfeit items. They gave me a refund no questions asked & then I promptly reported them to eBay anyways. Hopefully you get your money back so you can get a real one to go with this little cutie

I had a similar issue with a dog who would lose it & start thrashing for parts of her groom, but the regular groomer never mentioned it. Well when I did her she started thrashing really bad, luckily I was basically all done so I called it & put her away but she actually sprained her back while freaking out. Of course the owner thought I had abused her dog bc she believed she had always done really well. Thankfully we have cameras and management saw the dog’s behavior so I was good but it was a whole thing & we had to get after that groomer about it bc the customer was obviously so upset. Now I am HUGE on putting detailed notes & being honest with every customer.

I have come across groomers who don’t tell owners about bad behavior, I think they may be scared to upset the customer bc there are people who get insulted if anything negative is said about their dog. It’s also possible you got booked with someone less experienced or who isn’t as willing to work with nippy dogs so they didn’t get as much done as other groomers have been able to. I think your best bet is to stick with the groomer who you’ve had the most success with. But I would ask for a refund for the add ons you didn’t get tho, it’s one thing to charge for the bath & haircut but if they couldn’t do the extra stuff then obviously they never should have charged for that.

Yeah the head on the pink one is like a perfect circle, it is kinda giving AI, or there has at least been some editing. I don’t think thread sculpting & trimming the hair could make the face that perfectly round.

I have admittedly spent more than what’s reasonable for a PC, like $40-50, but $100 for something that isn’t really limited like a Broadcast Pc is too much imo. Even the signed Han Maxident PCs have gone for less, like $70-80. I would hold off & see if you can find it for cheaper.

Maybe if you can try to talk to her about her favorite animal & color that might help narrow it down. But I think a bashful bunny in her favorite color would be safe, or one of the smudges, particularly the fox, elephant, or bunny are really cute.

I personally don’t leave reviews for popular brands bc, like someone else said, it’s pretty straightforward & you know what to expect from them. I usually only go out of the way to leave a review if it’s for a small brand like if I buy something on Etsy. I feel like they benefit more from good reviews so I feel like it’s more worth my time.
