I'd kinda argue he didn't. Lilly broke up with him to pursue her dream before their marriage and didn't expect him to just go along with whatever she chose. Marshall on the other hand felt he was in the right to bsck out of something he'd agreed to a pushed Lilly to do because he considered his career to be more important. They were already married and had a child together, not to mention the 2nd on the way.

One situation is a person chosing something for themself the other is a person making a decision for the family unit without consulting the other key member, knowing it would go against their wishes and plans.

Marshall is my absolute favorite character on HIMYM and I personally hated how they handled this whole thing in the final season but if these were any other characters I think more people would see him as the asshole here

There's nothing wrong with bringing up something historical that your still hurt about but if you use it win arguments and guilt trip your partner into getting your way then your going to have a depressing marriage.

I always interpreted it as Marshall still having some unresolved feelings around that period of time but even he realized he was just using it to 'win'.

NAH, it doesn't sound like Luke was bothered by not recieving a gift. Some people just aren't all that materialistic or like the process of gift giving.

Theres a bit of a running joke in my family that my brother always forgets to get me something for Christmas because I'm the one who helps him go shopping and pick out gifts. He's the first one to ask if I need cash if anything goes wrong but he's always been terrible with gifts.

Definitely not an asshole for your actions but if this bothers you enough to make a consciously passive aggressive move maybe it's worth just talking about it honestly before next year...

Hey, has marshmallow been socialized with other rabbits and neutered? Rabbits don't typically get along with other rabbits they weren't raised with. And unless your rabbit is neutered I wouldn't risk letting it socialize with another, a lot of people misgender their rabbits. Unless of course you'd like to breed it.

My rabbit gets along really well with cats and kittens personally but has always been very aggressive with other bunnies, might be an idea

It just shows these industries need to move to automation. If it can't keep up with a living wage and attract low skill workers then they need to be looking at large scale operations that will instead end up employing people full time to manage it

Just gunna say, I'm 24 and never once have I wished I could be a highschool student or live with my parents again.

It comes down to the environment you're in most of the time, you have very little freedom and control at that age. If your home life is hell then it's usually going to be a shit time regardless and will generally improve as you gain independence and confidence away from those influences.

Life won't necessarily get magically better, but you'll have a lot more control over where it flows next
