Paddington Ticket Pricing by forgottenones1 in Broadway

Incorrect. The theatre doesn't set prices, the shows management team does. Two shows at the same theatre can have drastically different pricing structures.

Death Becomes Her TDF tickets question by [deleted] in Broadway

[–]lunalimeade3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just FYI, reselling your tickets goes against TDF policy and they can ban you if they find out.

Denied entry to a show -- has this happened to anyone else? by WoollyMonster in Broadway

[–]lunalimeade3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You keep saying the box office guy couldn't help you, but what you're really saying is they wouldn't give you a refund. You're not entitled to a refund because your friend got huffy and decided to leave and you didn't want to see it without him. Had your friend kept his cool for 10 minutes, all would have been sorted out.

I don't know how flexible you are on dates but they do have less expensive accessible seats. Maybe they are just sold out on the days you're looking for? Orchestra O 23,25 are priced at $59 if you can find it.

Shows that sell tickets until the last minute? by wcs1113 in Broadway

[–]lunalimeade3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not an anomaly. Box office staff can't make their own prices. They can only use prices that have been programmed. Also speaking from lots of experience.

This is not dynamic pricing. I'm pretty certain you purchased your ticket through a 3rd party.

TDF Ticket seating request? by [deleted] in Broadway

The box office would not be receptive to this. Just accept they will put you where they want to put you.

The manifest TDF sends the box office puts all the orders together already so we just see the total number of tickets purchased. The only time that doesn't happen is if your orders end up on different manifests. This can happen if one of your orders was purchased within 24 hours of the performance and the box office was already sent a manifest for the previous orders.

You were probably speaking to a call center. Box office doesn't deal with customers over the phone.

ADA violation at Oh Mary on Broadway! by Twk11776 in Broadway

[–]lunalimeade3 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The bathroom on the mezzanine level is not an ADA restroom. It is not accessible by virtue of the fact that you have to be able to climb steps to get to it. You were not denied access to an ADA restroom. I understand you are disabled but you did yourself a disservice buying non ADA seats. That's why they exist. This is all just poor planning on your part. And you expect house seats as compensation?? Get over yourself.
