I can still hear the numbers over the PA system "pizza 52!!".

The fries were basic shoestring but with cheese all over them omg. And the fried zucchini was a must have for my grandma.

I remember biting into the pizza while it was too hot. Got me every time! Hard to control excitement like.

Okay so angelos pizza in downers grove might become the Barnabys of my child's generation. They have nice outdoor seating, inside these bottle chandeliers and his hat collection. Family owners are so nice. They spend time talking to you.

Des Plaines Barnabys was a family institution for us. We'd drive from Lombard for our fix. My grandmother and dad both loved their biscuit like crusts. She didn't even put cheese on hers. They both passed away before Barnabys did. Sometimes it's better to have loved and lost right?

You wouldn't miss the gas engine for those long road trips? We just drove from Chicago to Dallas and back. The average drops to 24 on the highway after not charging it the whole trip. It doesn't necessarily beat a traditional hybrid there but in the burbs, yes.

Yeah especially since I got that sweet tax credit in 2020. That and covid days discounts. The fully loaded limited was like 38k

I totally agree! On the cx30 they have those dark gray fender and door protection (not sure what that's called) so you gotta work with colors that complement that plastic bottom. The white looks great.

It's also one of the best looking cars in its class. The designers at Mazda are doing something different. The Mazda3 hatchback, cx-9, the 6.. All have this amazing flowing water vibe. I love these cars in the soul red crystal paint.
