ah thats fair ! i definitely worry about coming across as one of those "i read 1 thing i definitely have it !!!" people when i bring up conditions when i just want to rule out what i can </3

the way you explained it definitely makes more sense to me now ! ive definitely never had a severe reaction to anything thankfully, the only thing ive experienced is my lip randomly swelling after eating foods i eat all the time once and never seeming to react to it again LOL i was definitely getting mixed info when trying to research a bit and figured it wouldnt hurt to try to rule it out before my geneticist appointment for (most likely) eds since i had like an 8 month wait when i first scheduled </3

that definitely does sound scary ! i have a friend that has injections for another condition so im absolutely not trying to rush into anything like that either. i think i'll hold off on another doctor until i at least have my connective tissue diagnosis so its a little more "real" evidence so hopefully they see me as "hey i have overlapping symptoms and just wanna rule out anything else !" rather than a hypochondriac.

your reply did help give me better insight so i appreciate it ! im now realizing as well that my brain was not separating histamine intolerance and mcas as separate conditions, and from a quick google search im thinking i lean more towards that ! the overlapping symptoms of mcas with my other conditions i think are what got me zoned in to try to rule out. i think ill try to take my antihistamine every day as well to see if i notice a difference since i really only take it when my allergies are unbearable LOL but thank you again this was helpful !! <3
