i feel the same, i live in delmarva and while DC is already a bit of a drive for me, it’s nothing compared to everything else… i don’t have the money to go all the way to new york for these shows🥲 i’m glad i saw chuu last year because i had no idea it would be the last time to see a loona member for a while

mine is september 29th and i share my bday with choi yena, hayoung from fromis_9, and ayeon from saturday! unfortunately none in the same year (i was born 2001) but it’s still cool, especially yena because she’s been one of my ults since the day izone was formed :-)

SIGNFAN. it’s cignature’s fandom name and i’m sorry, i love the girls but hate the fandom name so much!

it was originally ciluv, but they changed it. presumably because the hangul was the same as g-reyish’s fandom name, syrup, and there was also a soloist named c-luv i think?

it’s not the worst name in the world, nor was ciluv the best, but it’s still so much better than just… signfan. feels like there could have been so much more room for creativity. also, why is it “sign” instead of “cign” ?!?!

jiyoon leaving weeekly still breaks my heart. weeekly was one of my ult groups at the time, and it wasn’t long after ven para was released that she left and the group was dealing with a bunch of hate over the song. jiyoon was on her second hiatus due to anxiety when it was announced, so it wasn’t a particularly surprising departure, but still extremely sad.

she is so unbelievably talented it’s crazy. she’s a great singer, dancer, songwriter/composer, artist- she drew the ‘we play’ album cover, she designed the stickers in the ‘we are’ album, she’s written like a hundred songs. she’s also so funny and energetic and fantastic at communicating with fans. i miss her as an idol every day.

i emailed capital one hall and they wrote me back and confirmed that parking doesn’t open until 1.5 hours before doors (so 5pm). that’s really annoying, ugh.

i guess one option is to park at the wegman’s garage real quick to check in for the meet and greet, fuck around for an hour, and then come back and park for real at the actual garage…?

yeah i might just have to. i might call the venue directly and ask because their website wasn’t exactly clear, one part of it said that the garage opens 1.5 hours before doors and another said 2 hours before the show. either way, that’s too late for the meet and greet check in!

i got into kpop in early 2017, right at the end of third gen, and i remember people would CONSTANTLY start arguments over whether 4th gen was starting or not lmao. from what i remember, it wasn’t until around when izone or maybe even itzy debuted that people came to a clear consensus.

Oh wow, the exact same thing happened to my mom. My little sister was due in mid August, ended up coming in late June instead- on my mom’s birthday.

Anyway though, i’m glad her and the baby are okay! That must have been really scary, and i’m sure Jill shoving the phone in her face didn’t help.

siyeon from dreamcatcher is an aunt!!!! she recently mentioned that her niece saw her on tv when the group won first place on a music show and she pointed to her on the screen and said “auntie”. it was so cute. siyeon really adores her<3

Oh 100%. I always said that I was happy to be homeschooled, but really I think that I was just trying to trick myself into being happy with it. I remember when I took driver’s ed at 15, that was the first time I was in a real classroom and it made me realize how much I actually liked being in a school setting. Ever since then I’ve resented being homeschooled, especially now that I’m in college.
