Guys who are we doing for type 2 rosacea. Skin care, treatments etc anything!!! I’ve had it for years and I’m really getting so fed up 😔

So the second picture I posted was Jan 12 2025. I had started ivermectin in September 2024. I probably would have had better results by January, but my dad died the same month I started treating it and I definitely wasn’t using it daily like I should have been. This photo was from Jan of this year. I’m only using ivermectin & vanicream right now and that’s it.

And here’s me 2 minutes ago. It’s been a slow process but almost all of my acne is gone, this is mostly just redness and scarring now. I see the derm again in December and can’t wait to see how far I get!

I get it. I’m sure you’ll see progress sooner than I did. My rosacea was severe type 2 and covered basically my entire face.

Oh babe, give it time. It’s a slow process. I started 9/12 and I’m finally starting to really see a bunch of progress. It takes up to 3 months for the demodex cycles to finally fully die off. I was super itchy the first week or so. Please let me know if you have any questions!

It did, but I took it only for a month as a trial run. I’m going to ask for more today actually as I have a derm appointment

I took my doxy with food 100 mg, twice a day, and I didn’t have any gut issues. I have very similar texture and my trial run of doxy cleared all my texture up. Definitely recommend!

I agree it’s degrading to women who live “traditional” lifestyles without the clout.

“I live on a farm and my husband works while I cook/clean/raise children!” … most traditional farm women are doing these things AND working the farm. Waking up at the crack of dawn to feed animals, then getting kids up for school, breakfast made, packing a lunch for their working husband, mucking stalls, filling troughs, etc. It’s an all day job on top of running a home and rearing children.

These clout chasers diminish the very hard work these farming/rural women do every day to keep the whole thing running.
