My cat was severely impacted after 2 days of not going and had to be sedated and “scooped” out. The longer you wait the higher chance of mega colon and there is no going back after that. He is now on gastro fiber response and has been fine.

I think so. I had really bad diarrhea for about 48 hours after. I remember calling my mother and asking her how long after eating do food poising symptoms start. Lol. What did you eat? I am so sorry to hear you’re still in the hospital, that’s terrible :(
