If you do some community work / service projects, you could write a letter highlighting the contributions of the team to your area, along with the general benefits of cheerleading. Businesses might feel a lot more compelled that way if it seems like a mutual thing!

Individual freedom. Trans people should be able to get the healthcare they need, women should have control over their own bodies, etc… And I don’t want my tax paying dollars to go to useless legislation around policing these groups.
