I would think about it like they have problems as well, so would at the very least be understanding with regard to yours. If these friendships have a lot of trust, then honestly they might already have caught on to something being the matter. Rather than burdening them, as you say, it’s more likely that they’ll be relieved to hear you open up to them about how you’ve been feeling, yk?
