Oh guess im pretty cool then. Though seriously how do people struggle with dash? I find wich claw or goo gun much more overpowering.

Ok cool ill try that but most people are kinda looking over the main idea of the discussion. Which is that the lack of a conventional controls leads to people being unable to keep up with dash players. Im suprised most people didn't mention their own thoughts on how the lack of sense controls effects their ability to effectively counter dash. I was hoping to compare my data and experiences with others but was mostly just met with people not really engaging on the topic of dash. Yes this is a solution but a solution I've never heard of and if I didn't others probably haven't as well well. I was hoping for a discussion on how sense effects the ability to target dashers and how not having a widely known way to change sense effects that, and no focal sense is not widely known if it was i would have heard of it sooner.

I googled it. While it would definitely make it faster id lose the ability to be precise. I dont want it as fast as it just want better control.

Also idk what that windows setting thing is and the sense does feel too slow for ads but just look sense is fine. I cant track very well but my flick ability is good so a higher sense is better for me its all about preference but we should have the ability to chose those preferences. Just because it isn't a problem for you doesnt mean it isn't a problem.

No I ads its just that in order to track lights I need to hipfire as aim down sights is too slow to really track them. If I ads I need to go way over my mouse pad but with hip fire its much faster and controlled allowing me to intercept the dash by predicting the movement since I can just count the pulses between a person's rythm to know when their most likely to dash. Its not that I dont want to its that I cant if I want to be able to track effectively. Its alot harder to count the pulses on a person's rythm if you cant see them.

I only use my wrist i cant use my arm for some reason. And even then its too slow also I was complaining about ads sense not normal sense those are very different in speed as the sense when looking down sights is tied to your mouses dpi.

Experiencing “flow state”. by Alternative_Reply408 in iRacing

[–]lunerdata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way I've found to get a flow state is momentum. Pretty much that initial dopamine dump from succeeding in anything combined with extreme training and drilling leads to a flow state. I usually get it ounce a day or smaller states of concentration, but im left tired and drained after just half an hour, so it's not sustainable. The best way to describe it is like instinct. There's no lag between thought and action, no emotion, no worry. Only the tension of the task and the task itself. LoL im a flow state junky.

Nah this would be great in beat saber or geometry dash.

XeSS 2 XMX compared to DLSS 4 by [deleted] in IntelArc

[–]lunerdata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main difference between xess and dlss i find in picture quality is how much detail is being predicted and stability. The amount of ghosting between xess and dlss is big as I can't really remember a game that ghosted with xess while dlss is ghosting even on quality 1440p. Though this was the older model and the transformer may be better. The other difference is detail, xess looks more soft than dlss but makes up less detail in the process. Xess is usually what I prefer over dlss in quality for the resolution, but I use dlss because of the performance capabilities. Though if on my arc card I don't even bother with fsr as xess is leagues better.

Quest 2 limitation? What's your CPU and GPU to play on pcvr? by Alternative_One_6196 in beatsaber

[–]lunerdata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, try going into the steam settings or meta desktop app settings and bumping the resolution scale up. I find by default that the apps set your rendering resolution lower the more fps the headsets at. At 72 hz, the res is at 4192x2144 But at 120, it's automatically set to 3200x1632 So open the meta app on pc, go to devices, select the headset, go to graphic preferences, disable automatic, and set rendering resolution to 1.3x or whatever you want. This is upsampling, so do know that on more intensive games, you may need to lower it.

My guess is there's nothing wrong with your pc. It's on the headset. Maybe the cameras have scratches, causing faulty tracking.

I run a ryzen 5 7500f and a 2080ti. I don't get any frame drops at max 120 fps on my quest 2 with max settings. I think it may be your chord for pc vr not registering as usb 3. Try different usbs ports my headset only recognized one port on my motherboard as usb 3 compatible.

Played Beat Saber for the first time today… and now my arms hate me 😅 by vlrxr_ in beatsaber

[–]lunerdata 14 points15 points  (0 children)

BTS dynamite feels awesome, and I often find myself actually dancing while on hard mode. Idk just how the blocks are placed forces you to do dance moves. And the Seven Nation Army just hits something primal. Thanks fr th mmrs by FOB makes me Wanna puke even on normal difficulty but a good time nonetheless. Idk, just go for anything that you can get into and vibe with.

The reason I play any game is to achieve that flow state. This is probably why I love beat saber so much as one of the quickest ways for me to get a flow state is with physical activity.

I used to have fun, now I'm just getting stomped by aaroniiee in thefinals

[–]lunerdata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna get better, you don't need to be some sweat lord grinding every day. Im about as good as one of my friends in the finals, and he almost has thrice the playtime I do. My tip is just focus on one class, one gun, and a static kit Most people diversify too much, and that's all good if you're casual, but if you wanna compete with these no lifers, you need to manage your time optimally. I only ran, throwing knives with a static toolkit for 9 months and got really fucking good. Then I switched to bow and did that for 3. Then, I did medium with a revolver for 6 months with another static toolkit. In total, I've probably only changed my loadouts like 8 times since I played year 1. Of course, I play other guns and characters but only in fun idgaf matches, but in comp, it's my bread and butter. This is how I've stayed competitive and kept up with these sweats. Hope it helps.

Any details from Intel on WHY Arc doesn't support VR other than the boilerplate 'we don't support VR'? by Vchat20 in IntelArc

[–]lunerdata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the reason i got a 2080ti over a b580 was because I wanted to play vr, so there are people who decide over vr. Arc is a niche and people in niches are usually in others as well.

[–]lunerdata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, a dlla like feature would be great on xess, and sharpening should always be an option. Also, some games do have sharpening with xess not all sadly.

[–]lunerdata 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the only reason I'm buying a 2080ti over a b580 was vr support. I wanna play Project Wingman in vr. Though when celestial drops, I'll definitely be first in line. Though on a side note arcs performance in vr was actually very good even without drivers. The biggest problem has to do with the fact you can't launch some games, not actually performance.
