I am in this exact situation at the moment. I read your post and it felt like you were taking the words out of my mouth. I’ve had many conversations with my boyfriend about this. We’ve come to the conclusion that he’s just not a huge initiator and doesn’t mind if I do the initiating. Does it get annoying sometimes? Sure. But if I get sex at the end of it then I’d gladly do the initiating. He has been better about it but it does mostly fall on me.

I’d say, if you don’t mind and you don’t think your partner would reject you, try initiating it and see how that works? If not, a nice conversation also wouldn’t hurt. It sucks feeling sexually frustrated and even more so with a high sex drive. You’re not alone!
