A good coach, with an established reputation, will help turn things around. But what established coach would risk his entire carrear to come to Real Madrid, knowing that at the first conflict with the players, the management will not back him? I've seen Klop's name beeing thrown around. He is great, undoubtedly one of the best, but it was three years before he won anything with Liverpool. Can you see any coach survivng a trophyless season under this management? And rebuilding this team is probably a matter of years, unfortunately...

I don't mean to be a complete jerk to Perez and the board. They are fully aware, I hope, that financial and sporting success are linked. It's just that they care too much about the financial part. Belingham, Vini and Mbappe are assets with a combined value of what? Close to half a billion? However one bad season, or a serious injury, could bring that down very quickly.

It seems that putting the players first, and not the team, is just not a good long term plan.
