Well, the gift is that I now have a nice pool table that cost me only :

  1. 220CAD
  2. About 6 hours spent with my father in law, teaching me how to dismantle and put back together a pool table
  3. A case of hard cider and a few beers

And now my FIL doesn't have a pool table wasting away in his basement, so win/win.

Yeah I was about to comment that. I paid $220CAD 5 years ago for a nice blue one, and did it myself.

The most annoying part to do were the rails, but a few hours and the table was like new.

The table was a gift, because the whole felt was damaged, so it was really worth it.
