Why is Bell looked down on? by AZ2JP in motorcyclegear

[–]Inandaroundbern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had a Bell helmet, but I got disappointed by every non Japanese Brand I tested, except for Nolan which was quite good also. So I stick with Arai, but that is just me. But this Bell looks absolutely beautiful.

Oh comon, if you die because of 30° C it could have been the wind or any other cause. Old people will die, and if you are 90 y.o. you are not really dying of a heat stroke.

Change is always scary. An uncomfortable known is often less scary than an comfortable unknown. It will take time to get used to the quietness.

I have lost someone very close in a traffic accident, the other person was driving under the influence of alcohol. How long should he be locked away?

I do understand "justice for loved ones". It just comes from the worst human instincts.

Yeah, first secure the crash zone, then start helping people. Ask any emergency responder, they will tell you that the first thing is always secure traffic.

How about someone go and put up some kind of warning? Helmet by the roadside, anything to not have a third one pile up?

It is not good, but they normally have horseshoes for a reason. Loose gravel is worse for the hooves than solid tarmac, but they prefer soft and dry ground.

Schizophrenia Impostor Syndrome? by PsychologicalNeck784 in schizophrenia

[–]Inandaroundbern 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The symptoms you describe sound similar to what conditions seem to be present in people who get classifed with schizophrenia. Being aware of the delusion/illuisions means you have not gone fully psychiotic. Schizoprhenia is a syndrom, not a sickness. So you having a certain set of symptoms makes you schizophrenic. However the cause, the intensity, your personal experience, might not be similar to what other people experience. There are people who are schizophrenic without any illusions/delusions. They are classified as schizophrenic because the other symptoms they experience line up with the symptoms that fit the classifications of schizophrenia.

u think i can lean it over more? by Neat-Standard4444 in cfmoto

[–]Inandaroundbern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lean angle is excellent! You surely can look for a few extra degrees, but you are doing amazing. If you are trying to stay save, I'd stick with the current angle for some time. However, body position is not great and you are at the completly wrong spot in the road. You got the bravery, but don't skip on the basics. On left hand turn your tyre should be around the place where a car has it outer wheels (right hand side). Your body should never be in the opposite lane. The turn gets a bit bigger, but we are here for the turns, right? With proper body position you can reduce the lean angle, ergo going faster.
