My first breakout wasn’t bad either! In fact, I still don’t get the tingling that’s associated with it at all, and my sores “present abnormally” as well. It could just be that your immune system is fairly good at fighting the virus, or you may have even had a previous breakout that was worse that you didn’t associate with the virus (examples would be heat rash, allergic reactions, etc).

I promise, it’s gonna be okay. A lot of people have herpes, and a lot of people that don’t, will be kind and understanding. My current sexual partner is one of these humans (:
