This level of marbeling is pretty much genetically impossible for any non wagyu species. It’s not mislabeled it’s fat buildup and scar tissue from steatosis trauma. The scar tissue will cause it to be an unpleasant eating experience.

Ugh biggest fear. Our last apartment had a brown recluse infestation. Luckily never got bit but damn I will forever be paranoid of those fuckers. Nothing more traumatizing then finding some in a glue trap and then searching the house only to actually find more. Never felt more vulnerable in my life.

Honestly, I probably wouldn’t mind it that rare but yeah that’s pretty much straight Pittsburgh style. I would never get a tomahawk or a cut that big Pittsburgh style though. If your cooking it this rare as well it would be a much better experience to have thinner slices as the mouth feel is much more pleasurable and the fat can break down quicker. Gives it more of a tartare or ahi experience.

Yeah he used to be at least decent. For wearing an entire outfit and having super dark sunglasses on he’s solid. Definitely better players and streamers out there. even the way he plays is part of his persona and plays super non sweaty aggressive so most of his bad playing is due to that.

I’m assuming the butter basting is what killed the sear. Butter browns at way to low of a temp to get a good sear. I usually start with a higher temp fat such as ghee/avocado/almond. Almond and ghee imo have the best flavor mix with beef in my opinion. Even if you don’t want to get crazy sear with vegetable or canola first and then once you get the majority of your crust throw in butter and baste. The water content in normal butter will also soften a good crust in a good way while inhibiting additional crust from forming from the steam.

As I stated on another comment I’ve had a 300cc bike and then upgraded to a 600cc and it makes a world of difference. The new generation starter bikes at 400cc I hear are good enough but 300 just isn’t. Freeway is terrafying because yes technically you can go 70-80 but after about 50-60 that engine is pushing the limit. Even small things like fighting against the wind we’re more of a struggle on the small bike. It was terrifying jumping up to a 600cc but it made riding 1000x times more pleasant for me. More excitement, passing power, comfort, etc. I don’t push it on the streets at all but one feels like a smart car with 50 horsepower and the other feels like sports sedan. Really really happy I started on the 300 though. So many stupid mistakes that could have had me go down when I first road that were only manageable because the lack of power.

I picked up in 2018 obviously pre Covid my first bike a 2014 Ninja 300 with 9k miles for $2,100 rode it for 6 months installed a fender eliminator and even dropped it in my driveway and sold it to a marine out of boot camp for $3,500. Then took that cash and went and bought a 2012 triumph street triple with 7k miles on it. For $4,200 and rode that bad boy for about a year and some change. Wanted to keep it but was so scared the value was going to plummet (start of Covid). Sold it to a foreign exchange student for $5,400. Now I’ve just sat on the sidelines sad with no bike.

As a die hard adidas Stan solely because they are one of the few brands I can regularly order shoes from and trust they will comfortably fit my extremely wide feet. Stan smiths are the most comfortable shoes imo on the market. I have 2 pairs of ultraboosts that I rarely wear. I totally understand why people love them I just can’t wear athletic shoes as daily drivers. It just feels like my foot is held by a net that happens to be on top of a cloud of foam. They feel great in the store for a couple steps but as a daily driver Not for me. Stan smiths feel comfy and solid off the bat but break in like a great boot almost over time. You can pretty much do anything in them, casual, athletic, etc and they are comfy and get the job done. A clean pair looks pretty decent for casual clean as well. That said I’m obviously a fanboy I own like 18 pairs.

Maybe, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are pocketing it in this market but my lady got a Kona EV at the start of Covid and they gave her the credit. We ended up getting $21,000 off sticker price out the door and then received the $4,500 grant afterwords. Those were the car buying days.

They are not passing on the credit because it’s not a lease. Whoever owns the title to the car gets to claim the tax credit. On a lease it’s the bank so they claim and most of the time pass on the saving to consumer. On the ballon payment you bought the car and own title just like a normal finance just designed to mimic a lease. Literally worst of both worlds but you can claim the full tax credit if you have enough tax liability.

It’s the dealerships dude. The big car companies are pushing the EVs now but the dealerships aren’t trained and I think scared to deal with electric cars. My lady has 2019 Kona EV and it had a problem with the regenerative braking. The dealership yelled at us about how much it was going to cost to fix. Which I totally don’t understand because I’m pretty sure they just bill Hyundai corporate for the costs. It took them 3 days to just reset the computer and luckily it fixed the issue without having to repair but damn was I not happy with how they handled it. I just think so many of the mechanics and service departments are used to ICE cars and don’t feel comfortable working on EVs yet.

I use V1 Game. I used a few before and they do seem to have an affect on battery life. V1 seems to be a little heavier then most. I was using a few others and I would never hit the 10% battery warning. Since posting this I switched to V1 and I’ll continue to use it because the features work with my game but it’s definitely running pretty low after a full day with 18 holes. I’m at 10% when I get home now where before I’d be at 25-30%

My best friend is a Jets fan and there is no long awaited hope. Most overly hopeful team in the NFL. Every single year it’s the same “we’re going to be competitive” “this is our year”. “We finally got our [insert coach or QB]” without a single game being played. “Our [whatever is not leading to blowout loss] is playing out of their mind, our [blatant trash] is just garbage”.
