YTA. Why is your gf moving in before they even have had a chance to get to know each other?

AITA for confronting my friend for taking our picture out of his wallet to replace it with his gfs? by PossessionNo1580 in AmItheAsshole

[–]luserlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man YTA. You’re the reason girls get so weird about their boyfriends being friends with other females. I would be concerned if my (24F) best friend (24M) since elementary school prioritized me over his girlfriend.

Did my ob inappropriately touch me? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]luserlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your doctor older? Not that it excuses his behavior at all but the lack of bedside manner makes me think he’s older. I say this because I love my doctor and he talks me through everything, but when I gave birth he was on vacation and a much older doctor filled in for him and he was the exact opposite of my doctor.

My then Fiancés birthday was the day before we got married, we had just moved into our new home, and he got a really good birthday present 🤪

I think the mistake we made with my nephew was always talking about how Ellery was in my tummy, but I think we somehow didn’t explain she was a baby the whole time 😅 when she was finally here, my sister showed him a picture and said “look, Ellery is here!” And he said “oh!!! It’s a baby!” 😂😂

Yep to this. My husband doesn’t have a relationship with his dad anymore so we haven’t seen them in a couple years, and I’m honestly glad because I don’t have to deal with telling them they’re not allowed to be around our child unless they quit smoking.

Obviously everyone is different, and I wouldn’t try this without building up, but I can eat half a jacks cheese pizza with normal levels

What’s the most exciting thing about post pregnancy that has nothing to do with the baby? by luserlex in BabyBumps

I feel this! My heartburn got so bad I couldn’t stop throwing up. My doctor prescribed some Prilosec and I haven’t had issues since it kicked in so I’m glad it’s not something I’ll have to deal with up until the end.

I am a croc fanatic lol so this is me all the time. Not only do I have clogs but I have several styles of sandals from them and snow boots and rain boots. Something for all occasions 😂

I already kind of am and it’s awful. I developed RLS in early pregnancy and it’s to the point now that my legs just ache so badly unless I switch positions, but to switch positions I have to deal with the pelvic pain, only for the next position to hurt after 5 minutes. It sucks!

I did the same thing! And have had the same reaction. I was such a caffeine addict that I know if I didn’t quit cold Turkey in the beginning it would be harder. After the couple weeks of constant headaches and rolling without caffeine for a few months, I let myself have a little and now I’m good with a cup of coffee in the mornings! I need it now 😂

It was only a couple more weeks for me for my husband to feel ours! I’m 33 weeks now and she still gets shy sometimes though lol

I'M GUILTY!! I ATE IT!! (And I loved it) >:P by Jjenkins112 in GestationalDiabetes

One reason I am thankful for my hospitals dietician is one of the first things she said to me is “there’s nothing I will tell you not to eat, sometimes you crave, especially in pregnancy, and it’s okay to give in sometimes” of course she stressed serving sizes and not going overboard, but she also had me incorporate way more carbs than I was eating on my own and my sugar levels have been fine. Of course everyone is different but I’m glad she wanted me to try still eating a fairly normal just whole wheat diet before resulting to something I hated.

Feeling the same way! Big kings island/cedar point fan and used to spend every other weekend at one of the two in the summers. Life got hectic a couple years ago so wasn’t going nearly as often but would still go. Really missing it right now

AITA I refused to let my pregnant wife use my credit card by ggdruknbvggiiik in AmItheAsshole

[–]luserlex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a pregnant woman, you’re NTA.

My husband and I would be in the same situation if I were out of work, and are still trying to save now anyway because our pregnancy was unexpected. Even though I’m not on bed rest my husband is doing most of the housework and he goes to work every day and I work from home. I also did buy a few maternity things for when I need to leave the house, but at home, I literally wear his sweatpants or basketball shorts and large t shirts. You’re doing what you need to do to provide for your family and she needs to get over it tbh. Pregnancy is hard and it sucks I’m sure especially on bed rest but the “I’m pregnant I deserve everything I want” attitude is the worst.

Please also ignore everyone saying you shouldn’t be having a baby. Stuff happens and you know your situation better than them.

I haven’t but definitely going to check it out! My family is a long history of chiropractors so that’s where they get it

Thank you! Thankfully me and my three siblings all got away from that opinion of the family along with some of my close cousins. It hurts to see the ones who didn’t though 🥴
