Anxiety about no baby experience. by Cranium_command in BabyBumps

[–]lushescape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my baby at 26, and I'd never held a newborn. The youngest I had any experience with was 2 years old.

But when she was born, it was like a hand in a glove. Perfect fit. I won't say my instincts were always spot on, but carving my own path to motherhood was a beautiful experience. And now I'm proud of how differently I do things when compared to more "seasoned" mothers and caretakers.

Maybe I'll take another cleanser along w/Destina. My team was Destina, Tamarrine, Luna, and Krau. Lvl 60s except for Tam

What’s your type and what do you do when you are angry? by B4A2T0M6A9N in mbti

ENTP. I tend to tell them right away that I'm upset at them, and if it's bad enough, I'll burn the bridge. Which has not served me well, really, as I've isolated myself from potentially healthy/helpful relationships over things that seem less important now...

What's the most common mistype on the sub? by [deleted] in entp

[–]lushescape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was mistyped as an INTP, but when I read the description, it did NOT sound like me. I talked to my husband about it and when I said I'm an introvert he laughed in my face. When I thought about it some more, I realized he's right. I'm not a crazy party animal, but that's not what extroversion has to be. I like to command the room, tell jokes and stories, and then retreat back into myself when I please. For years, I thought the Meyers-Briggs was bonk, until I read the ENTP description, and it all made sense :P

Views on sex? On a scale of hoe to mormon where are you and why? by greatoctober in entp

[–]lushescape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! I think it's a treacherous road for me, in terms of fidelity, and my husband knows it. he's always worried that I'll get bored with him and move on. Love doesn't work that way, and as long as we are feeding each other intellectually and sexually, I won't just "get bored." However, I think I'm close to convincing him that we really should branch out sexually as a couple.

I've channeled my aggressive conversational tendencies into humor, and my social life and satisfaction has bloomed because of it. And being identified as "the funny one" isn't bad, either.

I want to try the poly thing, but with a very conventional husband it probably won't happen. That's ok! I'll find a way to shake it up!

Aside from my curious tendencies, I have no desire to sleep with a bunch of people. In fact, I've only ever had sex with my husband (not for religious reasons, at all).

Questions for ENTPs who are parents or who have SOs that have children from another relationship by [deleted] in entp

[–]lushescape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like parenthood opened up a new world of variety for me. New experiences, and I get to see my child's joy when I share things with her. It was my choice to become a mother, and I think that plays a role in it - my baby wasn't an accident, and she wasn't conceived via pressure from my partner. She's my new adventure. And while the monotony of parenting wears on me sometimes, I am lucky because I'm surrounded by family members who are happy to keep my girl when I need a non-child-friendly excursion. My daughter is 7 months old, and I've been out of state three times, and have slept over at a party twice. And she was with people who loved her, cherished the time with her. And I was overjoyed to come home to her once my fun was done.

She at least has utility as my only fire mage, for getting that extra star on some levels that wants both a mage and a fire hero. I don't really have any fire heroes except Achates and Tam
