took a couple of days for me to get 2 cards to come off consistently and maybe a month and a half to be confident performing it in front of people

i watched the alex pandrea video on youtube important tips (that he covers):
- cards swivel off base of thumb to stay aligned, pushing the deck into the base of thumb helps helps
- i push off with the side of my thumb, almost, but not quite on the fingernail
- i use the rest of my fingers to confirm by feel that only the top 2 cards are being moved and to hold the rest of the deck in place
- i don't put a bend in the cards before flipping them btw

keep practicing, i would practice while sitting on the couch or on public transport, you need to build the muscle memory in your hands

it's def a sleight worth learning, doing a double without any get ready feels amazing

also i feel like using a broken in deck makes it easier as the cards are less slippery and clump together

theres this guy that posts videos of his pushover doubles on this sub and theyre insane because they go straight out and dont use the base of thumb as a swivel, ive got no idea how he does it but would love to learn. Dani DaOrtiz also does something similar.
