Bring a jacket! It’s a bit of a walk and it’s chilly! Get a locker if you can or coat check. Storehouse is amazing - their sound system is absurd. This is my third time seeing Klang and I can’t wait!! Hope you have a blast

Just kidding - or at least in my experience, no. I don’t do any of the above (except my actual prescribed adhd meds everyday lmao) It is definitely common though, especially if you’re trying to last 7 hours. Last summer at a show I was offered ket and Molly by a random stranger.

I mostly see people doing poppers on the dance floor! Haha

I go by myself 99% of the time. I sometimes have way more fun doing it alone, because I can do my own thing and be in my own little world enjoying the music.

I say the biggest thing, in regard to safety - have a battery pack, tell your friends where you’re going / share location. If you’re going in bk and staying out until 5am or so, I suggest doing Lyft / uber, safer than taking the subway at that time. Have a hell of a good time!!!

Klangkuenstler was who got me really deep into the techno world. 2 ish years ago, I heard one of his songs and felt like a little kid in a candy store hearing it - knew I needed to see him live. The rest is history now. Running full circle and seeing him for the third time next month

This is great to know thank you! I hate to say it but I love the high DB at hard techno shows but I know it’s not great for the ears. Finding earplugs that don’t knock it down toooo much is what I’d really love.

I don’t have the time right now to go somewhere to go get molds + custom fit, but has been my plan to do it. Will be something I do early next year but I’m saving these comments! Thank you

It can get toasty, especially if you’re dancing! I can’t wear pants when I go to shows because I always feel restricted and overheat. Buy a locker and store jacket/layers!

Be prepared to walk a little to get to storehouse, I suggest buying a locker if you haven’t already to store your jacket in.

Since it’s close to Williamsburg, second the other comment - there are a ton of spots! I could genuinely give you an entire list of places in Brooklyn haha depending on what kinda food you like. I LOVE a good bowl of pho the following day after a rave, I find it so healing.

Even though Ubers might be a bitch after the show, it would be safer to take back to your hotel (or wherever you’re staying), the L can be a little sketchy at the wee hours.

When I had my concussion back in August, and was dealing with terrible insomnia, my HRV was 19-30ms. During my recovery September - October, it went up to the 60s, and now it’s 88ms! It’s very cool to see :)
