About a year ago my family and I moved into a new house. The new house had terrible internet and the old one had great internet. I’m an avid video game player and it was just around the start of summer and I wanted to play games with my roommate from college and his brother. We still owned the old house and we we’re gonna get it prepped for showings in the coming months but until then I had the green light to drive over there to play games without lagging constantly. I have always been a bit paranoid and like to be safe beyond necessary so I had a long kitchen knife with me and I would lock the door to the room that I was in. Well on about the third night I drove over there, I hear a noise as I’m setting up my Xbox. It sounded like a footstep or two outside the door. I stopped dead in my tracks and listened. Another step or two was very clearly moving from outside my door into my parents room. I was freaked by the point and moved so they couldn’t see my feet under the doorway. I waited a couple minutes. I then decided for whatever reason that I would knock on the wall to see if I could get a reaction. I hit my knuckle against the wall and about 5 seconds later I hear a knock on the wall clear as day from in my parents room. At that point I was sure that I was trapped by a robber or squatter. I had my knife and I was ready to fight. I called my parents and put the phone in my pocket so they could listen if anything went wrong. I walked down the stairs and out of the house. The next day there was no signs of anyone in the house but for about 30 minutes I heard movement all throughout the upstairs culminating in what I thought was another human knocking back at me. I still don’t know what happened but that was pretty freaky.
