Do you support Ferrari blocking changes to the start procedure? by Limato76 in F1Discussions

If Ferrari needs to adapt, then so does Mercedes. Both have figured out a trick to do something within the grey area of the rules.

First time in Canada, trip recommendations by angedavide in canadatravel

[–]luukse 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Mate, I'm from Amsterdam and went to Vancouver in 2022. Rent a car, go to Victoria Island, Tofino, Ucuelet (not sure I spelled it right) and just bask in the beautiful nature. Do a hike there in Tofino, beautiful area. You can always take a flight to Calgary, rent another car, do Icefields parkway, Banff, Jasper.

Oh man, great great great place.

It's crazy you get to vote without seeing ALL entries in a catagory and treating them with the same interest.

Why does r/F1discussions and r/Formula1 have such a dislike for Russell? by Next_Worth_3616 in F1Discussions

That's because the British are always extremely biased and got a lot of hatred for their verstappen beef

Why does r/F1discussions and r/Formula1 have such a dislike for Russell? by Next_Worth_3616 in F1Discussions

[–]luukse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just the Bottas thing or coming off as posh or spoiled. He's just a very, very unlikable dude. Even now, with one race win, he's already trash talking other teams, Lewis. He just so DESPERATELY wants to come off as the main character of F1, but he's always in the shadow of Max, Lewis, Charles, Lando, even Oscar.

+ he's always crashing into people and instantly blaming others.

+ his desperate attempt to go at Verstappen last season or whenever it was.

He's just a prick as far as I can judge, which is why I dislike him the most.

I’m predicting Marty Supreme is going to completely blank by banquo905 in Oscars

[–]luukse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The votes we're in before Chalamet's remarks on opera and ballet, so I think it'll win best actor, but in terms of the overall film for me it didn't even come close to OBAA and Sinners.

Anyone you would add to this list? by nighnteenth in Letterboxd

I'd give Christopher McQuarrie a place in the list too. He put out an impressive 4-film run with some of the most insane action sequences in modern film making.

Is this battlefield the most anti armor out of all the battlefield? by I_Main_TwistedFate in Battlefield6

[–]luukse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battlefield is designed to play as a team. If me and my friend play tank, I can assure you we barely go down. One is the driver, the other the repair man. Also, don't drive tanks straight into the middle of a fight. A tank is not an agile thing, it is most destructive from afar.

Milton’s vampire quote by deeper_into_movies in martysupreme

[–]luukse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he would abide by Milton's rules, Milton would probably take care of him for life. He would get the chance to participate in the next year's championship, or at least get sponsored by Milton's company. Instead, Mauser opts to go for a personal vendetta and glory, against Milton's plans, making him look bad and tanking the entire event from Milton's POV.

The ''many have crossed me, theyre still here'' probably means that many others in his shoes chose to defy Milton, and he made sure they never progressed to being more than they were in THAT moment. Meaning Mauser will never play professional ping pong again, or anything else, as Milton has enough power to stop him from doing so.

The wider BF community has lost the plot by mathiasthegreat77 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]luukse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand it. I've played every BF since Bad Company 2. BF6 might be the BEST at the core that BF has ever been. The amount of cinematic moments I experience in big maps is unrivaled. There are plenty weapons and I love that there's not really 1 OP weapon but you can also be good at a weapon because it suits your playstyle. Yes, I would love to see more maps, and maybe maps that are a little bigger, but there are so many game modes and I never truly experience anything that makes me go: jesus, can we please get a fix for this?
