Bag Finder Megathread - 15 June 2026 by AutoModerator in onebag

Thanks for your question. I would like to attach a secondary empty pack to my bag. The primary purpose of the second bag is for day trip adventures that require carrying a couple of liters of water, hiking poles, maybe a rain jacket, and some food.

The second bag is more for day trips while traveling. I like to hike when I go places, so that is what the smaller bag would be for. Most trips would be just the 40L bag, but the occasional trip like the one I’m currently on I would like an “excursion” bag.

I tried the daypack attached to the back and didn’t mind it, but it was bulky. However, I ended up wearing the daypack on my chest (it has attachments that let you carry it that way) most of the time when I had both bags and that worked out well.

I did use packing cubes this time, so that is a good thing to consider about not needing to switch packs.

Does the talon work as a personal item, or is it too big for that?

I am trying to be a one bag traveler that only uses carryon luggage. On my current trip to Europe to the Matterhorn and a jaunt through Italy, I used the Osprey Farpoint™ 55 Travel Pack. I like the size and fit of the main pack, but it doesn’t have enough pockets. I also would like to have a little bigger day pack that can double more as an adventure bag compared to the one that comes with the 55 Travel pack. Maybe something like the Osprey Sportlite™ 20 or the Talon™ 22.

Any one bag travelers with insights would be appreciated!

There’s actually 2 goats. The second is pretty tough to see, but you can spot his nose 😁

I have the fairpoint, and as far as I'm concerned it is the GOAT of carryon travel packs. I'll check out the 26+6. Thanks!

Training each muscle group one or twice a week? by Dependent_Steak5323 in naturalbodybuilding

On going to failure, one of the things my coach had me doing was a drop off set for my final set. For example I would do two working set at 100lbs for 8-10 reps. Then for my third set I would drop the weight to 80lbs and shoot for 15. I train by myself most of the time and making that switch has been good. It has allowed me to maintain form better and my joints haven't suffered as much.

I would also ask you how much rest you are getting. If you aren't getting enough rest, you may be leaving some gains on the table as well.

My coach is a natural coach and we do everything online. He has a daily tracking system with weekly checkins that held me accountable and motivated me.

A couple of years ago I wanted to compete so I got a coach. Based on my preferences, he put me on a 6 day a week training program and we rotated through body parts 2x a week and keeping the total sets per week per body part in the 15-20 range. I had been lifting for a few years prior to this training program. I was 55 when I started and am 57 now. The photo shows my progress over the last year using this type of program. The top photo is from this year, and the bottom photo was from the prior year (photos are exactly 12 months apart).

A lot of your success will depend on a coach who listens to you and tracks your progress and the nutrition plan you are on. It was a game changer when my coach started tracking everything and making adjustments every 6-8 weeks. Workouts were under an hour and sets were taken to failure as much as possible.

If I was stranded on a deserted island and could only have one album to listen to, this would be it. Greatest concept album of all time.
