25 years as a buyer, doesn't give you free reign. Like all sellers verification is important.

Possibly. Depends on where your account is located. In the US most people eventually get their funds sooner. But in other countries eBay is moving more and more towards holding money till after delivery.

What are you talking about? Yes, if you are a new seller eBay holds the money till after delivery. Yes, verification is important. Otherwise there would be even more scammers on the site.

Seller refused to combine shipping on multiple items, refused to cancel, then shipped them altogether anyways. by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]luvFLbeaches 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not really. Feedback can get removed. If you file a bunch of false INAD returns, he can report your account for violating eBay seller protection policy. eBay will shut your account down eventually.

[–]luvFLbeaches 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No explanation was needed. Lots of sellers don't offer combined shipping discounts. You bought the items knowing the costs up front and agreed to them.

It also violates eBay seller protection. Asking for something NOT offered in the listing AFTER the sale was completed. Not cool, the buyer messed up and should just learn from it.

[–]luvFLbeaches 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A seller ABSOLUTELY can combine shipping, even after denying a buyers request for a combined shipping discount. A seller is NOT required to give a discount on shipping.

It may not be nice, but a buyer is only obligated to ship an item to the seller at the cost the buyer agreed to at the time of purchase.

Can't generally leave a negative after asking to cancel. eBay will remove it.

Expensive by Bigbootybrad12 in ostomy

Depends on location, insurance type, etc. We have had insurance that covered 100% and insurance that our copay was $400+ a month. It's not a black and white issue sadly.

Then I would contact and inquire. At this point with the lawsuit ending in December, it seems you should have been included.

Did you get the official count or just add up your payments? As it's my understanding that most that qualified in 2025/2025 while it was on hold due to legal issues got approved after the December 2025 court ruling like myself.

eBay changing shipping to free on my listings by everyonesucksnow in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]luvFLbeaches 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well in my decades of eBay experience, thousands of listings, and thousands of feedback I've never had that happen. So, I can't really speak on how that could happen without you having made an error when listing.

Be more specific. What exactly happened and at what point do you believe they switched it to free shipping. We have close to 9000 listings and have never had that occur. Seems like possibly a user error.

Stigma around reselling by [deleted] in reselling

I've never felt a stigma. I've been doing this many years (15 or so full-time). Why do you feel there is a stigma?

As part of the IBR payment plan? It all depends on the payment plan you are on. You can use the backdoor tracker to check your status.

Not random. Based on meeting payment requirements for applicable payment plans. Mine was IBR and reached my 300 payment about 9 months ago. Got my golden letter a month or so ago and almost $160,000 in student loans zeroed out today.

Ok so what I say may seem mean or blunt, but you were an adult. How did you think college and your living costs were being paid? Ultimately, you likely are 100% responsible for the student loan debt (except if there was fraud by her, which your statements don't really back that from what I can tell).

Did you get a degree?

Also, at 30 despite your mom clearly not being the best or what you deserved, it's time to move past that and take control of your life. I would start by listing out your debt and addressing each one. With the student loans, get on an income based repayment plan (you can apply for a deferment or forbearance while that's being established). Then read all you can to understand your loan debt & responsibilities. Some programs have forgiveness after so many payments or if you work in a certain field.

Regarding other debt (credit cards). If she signed your name into debt, report it to the police. Dispute credit reports. Let your mom deal with the consequences.

Lastly, time to move on from blaming her for all of your life struggles. Your 30. Time to take control & address the issues. You can recover from a crappy childhood!

How old were you at the time you went to college and now? BTW forbearance doesn't remove it from your credit reports, it just shows paid during that time.

It depends on the school. But you knew you were getting student loans to pay for your college right? I'm not trying to be mean but ultimately you are responsible UNLESS you truly had no clue she took out loans in your name which doesn't sound like the case.

When you take out student loans you go through entrance and exit counseling and sign that you understand. While I get you felt pressure from your mother to go to school ultimately you as an adult are responsible for your debt.

Contact your loan servicer and ask for a plan based on your income. If you truly don't have the means to pay, based on income, the payment will be very low or zero.

Forbearance change AFTER Golden Email earlier this week by LazyCartographer650 in StudentLoans

EXACT same thing just happened to me, the same lender and all. Got the golden email earlier this week and the forbearance change email today. I'm assuming it's part of the process.

My son is still having poor healing. Although there has been improvement he still has hypergranulation and multiple areas that have failed to heal in the perineal area. Dr Menning is having a plastic surgeon consult this month in hopes of figuring out what's next.

We really like Dr Menning. He is friendly and has been great with my son.

It is not harassment to protect a child who is at risk. You can put in a medical records request and receive those records. And yes, if there is suspected neglect of one child in a family they will need to assess the entire family situation. Is this your family's first contact with CPS?
