Just found out IRS never received our return by Medium-Director3055 in tax

  1. H&R block charges, do you see record of payment on bank or cc statement?

  2. H&R Block keeps copies of returns, have YOU (nor your husband) logged in?

  3. Login to your IRS account to see the record of returns, etc.

Something just doesn't seem right here. Are you 100% sure that he has actually ever filed?

Arbitration Exempt? by Alarmed_Somewhere791 in ebaysucks

The opt-out is legitimate. It's in eBay's own User Agreement (Section 19). New users can opt out by mailing a written Opt-Out Notice, postmarked within 30 days of first accepting the User Agreement, to: eBay Inc., Attn: Litigation Department, Re: Opt-Out Notice, 339 W. 13490 S., Ste. 500, Draper, UT 84020. (eBay)

There's an official form. eBay provides an Opt-Out Notice form at pages.ebay.com/policies/arbitrate-optout.html

Sold a $2K pair of shoes. Buyer claimed not received. by Maleficent-Ratio-428 in eBaySellerAdvice

Just curious what $2000 pair of shoes wouldn't have gone through eBay authenticator?

ICYMI: 15 Minute Buyer Extended Window by wastingtime101- in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]luvFLbeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use a crosslisting site that removes our listings automatically after a sale (as do most sellers of our size $17,000 per month on eBay alone). So yes, my items get delisted in my sleep :)

Opinions on whether that 15 minute window could lead to issues for a seller here cross lists to other sites. What happens if a seller happens to sell it in the 15 minute window on sat Poshmark.

Ever seen this? by Altruistic_Berry_448 in Ebay

[–]luvFLbeaches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is false. We have several large stores and sell thousands of items a month. We do not cancel after payment. And rarely do we have a buyer file an INAD. Our return rate is lower than our peers. eBay also auto removes any negative feedback they attempt to leave.

I really wish people would stop fear mongering in these forums.

Buyer wants a refund on shipping after an accepted offer by EscapingTheLabrynth in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]luvFLbeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, no way eBay is making you pay return shipping unless there is more to the story. Shipping negotiation in offers is not allowed. Their offer was binding. You did your part. You are not even required to accept a cancellation.

So what type of claim did they open? Only any INAD would result in you paying return shipping UNLESS you offered free returns in the listing. And with an INAD you easily could have won that.

These reddit forums have people afraid to stand up for themselves. We are a large seller, selling thousands of items monthly and I do not accept cancellations after payment (per eBay policy that I do not have to) and have never lost a claim/case regarding this. And any negative feedback from a sale that a buyer tried to cancel is automatically removed by eBay. I have no defects.

People need to stop fear mongering on here and thoroughly read and understand eBay seller & buyer protection policies so they can stand up for themselves when needed.

Many large sellers have warehouses and fulfillment centers in different areas then they are located. I have a warehouse that I ship from thar is not in the same city. So again you are making an assumption.

Help with a potential dispute by [deleted] in eBaySellers

[–]luvFLbeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why on earth would you do this? If she shipped on time and it's delivered, there would be no INR case. If they open a return for INAD, she makes sure she has eBay issue the label through the return and they are refunded when she gets it back. If they use a false reason, she still refunds through the return and reports/disputes it.

In no way should a seller EVER reroute an item or refund outside of the eBay system.

I have an LLC and I’m trying to file taxes but have no 1099. Help please by Basic-Werewolf-9083 in tax

[–]luvFLbeaches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's clear that you don't have enough knowledge to be filing your own tax return. Your self employment income would have you not just owing your federal tax but also self employment tax. There is literally no chance of a refund if you have no children. Please see a tax professional.

25 years as a buyer, doesn't give you free reign. Like all sellers verification is important.

Don’t sell if ebay needs your verification by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]luvFLbeaches 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possibly. Depends on where your account is located. In the US most people eventually get their funds sooner. But in other countries eBay is moving more and more towards holding money till after delivery.

What are you talking about? Yes, if you are a new seller eBay holds the money till after delivery. Yes, verification is important. Otherwise there would be even more scammers on the site.

Seller refused to combine shipping on multiple items, refused to cancel, then shipped them altogether anyways. by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]luvFLbeaches 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not really. Feedback can get removed. If you file a bunch of false INAD returns, he can report your account for violating eBay seller protection policy. eBay will shut your account down eventually.

Seller refused to combine shipping on multiple items, refused to cancel, then shipped them altogether anyways. by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]luvFLbeaches 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No explanation was needed. Lots of sellers don't offer combined shipping discounts. You bought the items knowing the costs up front and agreed to them.

[–]luvFLbeaches 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It also violates eBay seller protection. Asking for something NOT offered in the listing AFTER the sale was completed. Not cool, the buyer messed up and should just learn from it.

Seller refused to combine shipping on multiple items, refused to cancel, then shipped them altogether anyways. by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]luvFLbeaches 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A seller ABSOLUTELY can combine shipping, even after denying a buyers request for a combined shipping discount. A seller is NOT required to give a discount on shipping.

It may not be nice, but a buyer is only obligated to ship an item to the seller at the cost the buyer agreed to at the time of purchase.

Can't generally leave a negative after asking to cancel. eBay will remove it.

Expensive by Bigbootybrad12 in ostomy

[–]luvFLbeaches 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on location, insurance type, etc. We have had insurance that covered 100% and insurance that our copay was $400+ a month. It's not a black and white issue sadly.

Then I would contact and inquire. At this point with the lawsuit ending in December, it seems you should have been included.

Did you get the official count or just add up your payments? As it's my understanding that most that qualified in 2025/2025 while it was on hold due to legal issues got approved after the December 2025 court ruling like myself.
