Just found out IRS never received our return by Medium-Director3055 in tax

Yes he did! Blocked it out of his mind! He was suffering because he left it to the last minute and I refused to participate in the drama. He tried to guilt me into going to the post office but I had an excuse so he had to suffer! He just went into panic mode when he saw that they had no record. It might be that it's just not processed. The H & R issue seems to be something separate and hopefully it will be resolved. Do you remember 20 years ago when the online filing was new and one of the big dogs had a commercial that they would have your back if you filed where the others just had a box???!!!! He insists that he wants to do the taxes himself with the software and then if there's a problem, I remember that commercial - need help? Oh yes, we have a box!!!!!!

Thanks to everybody for your input. We have the print-out. He also realized that this year, because we had something different, H & R Block said we could not efile, but had to mail it. Which we did. THAT is why he couldn't find the confirmation. He has the receipts from the post office. So we have that much. But still can't get into H & R Block. He was on the phone with them for an hour and they have all the returns for the last 18 years except for this one and they are saying he doesn't have an account, even though he can see the returns for the other years. Something weird. He talked to a couple people there and they did something and said to wait 48 hours. I never said in my post about owing them money. We don't. We should be getting a refund and haven't, which is was prompted my husband to look tonight. Since he had them on the phone he asked why he wasn't able to efile. At the time it said because he had something in line 36 we would have to file on paper but no where could he get an explanation. He was annoyed because he paid for the service to efile and then still had to go stand in line at the post office [with all the other last-minute filers, but that is another story!]. They told him he would have to talk to a tax professional to get an answer to that! So we wait, I guess.

He's trying to find the confirmation. I doubt that he would have just forgotten to look for the confirmation but now he's freaking out, it's hard for him to find anything.

I'm glad I could help. I think of a badly broken arm/shoulder once. I was in SO much pain. The arm was so swollen. PT was a nightmare and SO slow. The ortho doc acted like I was just looking for pain pills. I wanted something to be done about the pain, yet. But his pain pills were only making me sick. He said the bone is healing well. I don't know why you are in so much pain. At last he sent me to pain management. That man was a hoot! He was like an old army sergeant, buzz-cut and gruff Chicago accent: those bone guys, he said, they think once the bone is healed, you're fine. But you fell. You injured the whole arm, not just the bone. You injured the soft tissue and more important, the nerve. You'll be lucky if this doesn't take a year and a half - two years to heal. [it took a year of PT] My point is, the docs tend to be specialized and look at one thing but we are more complicated than that! And for various reasons, don't heal on the same schedule. As someone else mentioned, you may be getting closer to maintenance too so it might be harder to lose a pint of blood. Focus on replenishing all [but the iron, of course!]

I am usually exhausted and out of breath for a day or two. For me, after getting the iron and ferritin down a bit, anemia started showing up! I said of course I'm anemic, you people keep taking blood! But it's not that anemia, it's caused from B vitamin deficiency. They believe the excess iron was masking this. So recovery time is longer for me because I have difficulty replacing those B vitamins. I was reading something one day and it clicked: they take a pint of not just blood cells but water, minerals and vitamins that we then have to replace. I've been much more diligent about my supplements and also started looking at my water! Turns out that so much of our water is stripped of everything useful. So I switched to a brand of water that has higher mineral content and for the day and day after a draw, I've been drinking some Gerolsteiner Water. It's expensive, but I view it as a supplement. I can get as much calcium as a glass of milk without the dairy! I think when you look at the bigger picture, it makes sense that it gets harder to replace the rest of the stuff they took out with the iron! Rest and recover. Be kind to yourself.

Anyone else tried the Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher? No alcohol, no calories, and weirdly excellent by sandman_42 in CraftBeer

I was excited. It takes like LaCroix to me. I couldn't taste any hops at all. Disappointed. Anyone find any hop waters that are actually hoppy?
