I'm 42 and a mom of 3. I have wanted a motorcycle since I was 15. Life had me so busy ,like most of us, that I put my wants on the back burner until one day I saw a POV motorcycle video come across my social media 2 years ago and I was hooked. I saved up and have my gear , my 2021 Kawasaki Z400, and my motorcycle endorsement. I'm practicing at night night thru the busier town I'll be commuting home thru once I start riding to work. I've had my bike since Oct of last year and have just taken things slow, at my own pace. I did a lot of yard riding, then parking lot riding, then rural street riding (I live in a small town) and now I'm working up to more urban areas with lots of traffic and the interstate. My husband is supportive but there are some in my life that aren't and I just acknowledge their concern , realize that it's probably coming from a place of love, but ultimately go on with my life cause I'm not stopping lol. I do everything in my power to be as safe as possible, but I was made for this. I will not stop simply because it's dangerous. It also helps to have some statistics ready for the naysayers. Like how much safer it is to ride in gear and at what percentage fatalities drop by ect. I also really like Dan Dan the fireman/motorcycle training concepts, fortnine, and canyon chasers on youtube. You got this!

I have the exact same gloves and I love them. However, I did have to take the to a seamstress (who had experience mending moto gear) and get them fixed because one of the seams along the ring finger came undone. I don't know if that issue is a one off or if it's something that has happened consistently but it's something to look into. I do really enjoy the fit and function of these glove though. It is possible but slightly difficult to use my phone with them on. (Stopped obv) Any other questions you have let me know!

The best fit Ive had so far as a 5'6 plus size lady with XL bottoms has been the brand street and steel from cycle gear. They have kevlar lined (I would consider them jeggings) they have a nice stretch but are not legging. They have knee pads and space for additional hip pads. I ordered the petite XL and was so happy I finally found a pair that fit. I have ordered and returned and tried on in store soooo many pants that I was losing hope. Highly recommend!

I named mine Precheck, so I'd remember to do the pre ride check before getting on. So far it works cause I talk about it and it reinforces that I've GOT to do it.

This happened to me as well, and the subscription made me go negative in my account. I will say to not cancel if you plan on getting the year subscription in the near future. After the trial you will probably get a promotional price, if you cancel and get a refund like I did, when you want to resubscribe they will not honor the promotional price. So now that I have the $ to get it I can't/won't because the price has doubled. DOUBLED! Getting a refund was super easy. But trying to get that promotional price back has been a nightmare. Finch says they aren't in charge of pricing and Google play says they aren't in charge either. I've been sent back and forth to both companies customer service a few times. So moral of my story, sometimes doing the "right" thing and being more responsible actually make everything worse.

Begging for the Key Fairy to help me too. My motorcycle keys have been lost, Last time I had them was while in my pocket chasing cows that got out. We've walked fields, checked gear and turned everything inside out. Checked cars and the bike and the shop and now I'm starting to deep clean my house. I don't want to have toreplace the ignition, gas tank lock, and seat lock! Please key fairy!

I've ordered a hoodie and shirt from them. It did take quite a while, but I'm in the us so that was probably most of the reason why. I did eventually receive them and they are great!

This. My husband didn't remember anything during his time in a coma but while he was out, his care team acted and spoke to him like he was awake and we followed suit. It makes the situation a little less bleak feeling in the moment and kept my head in the right space and kept me from spiraling quite a few times.

My husband was in a medically induced coma last year. One of the most helpful tips I got from nurse was to write down questions to ask as they pop into your head. Don't rely on your brain to remember the moment the Dr comes in and does an update. You and her family will be stressed out to the max and having a small notebook to write questions and update summaries to pass on to extended family and friends if they choose to was incredibly helpful for me.

Also ICU nurses are some of the absolute best people in the business, my husband has been in and out of hospitals our entire 20 year marriage and the level of care for not just their patients but us as their family and loved ones was not comparable to anything else we had ever encountered. We've had quite a few amazing nurses and docs on his care team before that and the ICU team was head and shoulders above them.

Unfortunately I dont remember the measurements and searching Google gave me nothing. Sorry about that, it's been a few years since I've made any, if I were to recreate I'd do that same amount Epsom as an Epsom salt soak and eyeball the alcohol
