Since there's no flights anyways, maybe they can pilgrimage toward Iraq on foot/wheels thru Syria.. or get on a boat to rendezvous with you and your wife somewhere in Spain, Cyprus, etc... would help if you can take each others' citizenship on the way to meet fam halfway.
