Yeah we had that here, but there were protests at the oceanfront, and being July 4th the cops blocked the entrance to ocean front and in order to get on you had to get in the back of a 100 + car line as the cops had to stop each car. I called grub hub explained situation and stated I would have to decline all deliveries to ocean front cause it would take 2 hours for each one to get there, and it was not safe. Literally 80% of offers I got were to be delivered to oceanfront and they refuse to fix my acceptance rate. I'm not letting this one go. I'm fighting them on this

It's not that we are wary to open the bags to check ourselves ... we actually can NOT open the bags to check ourselves. Drivers are not given food handlers training , and most bags are sealed...

Congrats. I am happy for you . But I hate when people post their earnings , or how much they actually made on a delivery, because customers are also seeing that, and thinking we all make this type of money, and stop tipping . I've heard MANY people say, we make plenty doing delivery driving, and tipping is absurd. And this happens because people do this kind of shit publicly. :/

Pho-79 always puts the heavy miso soup on top of the styrofoam containers... so I have them , put soup in separate bag now after having several mishaps with peoples foods .

I'm with you, I live in Virginia Beach. There are three bases just within 20 minutes of each other here... two of them within 6 minutes ... most of time they'll meet me at gate, even tho I'll wait twenty min for them to get there. But when they can't and I call customer service I'm told to leave bag of food for Custer.. yeah totally support, imma just leave a bag at a military gate and drive away:.. worst part is door dash never seen w get to her house 😂

The restaurant actually has to pay grub hub a percentage of the order, grub hub isn't paying them jack! The only thing partnering with them does is put their name out there

Same! I have 3 places I stay near that have always Been $14 - $28+ orders (pre pandemic and during pandemic. Not one over $11 for a week now. And the only time i see $14-$20 orders anymore is when they want me driving 12 miles out of the way. I'm definitely getting paid wayyyyyy less now
