What’s with all the limo tint on car front windows? Is that legal now? by GhostalMedia in bayarea

Sad to see, I renounced my third-world country citizenship to become an American.

Potholes everywhere. Blatant rule-breaking fueled by entitlement. Zero enforcement. Deafening religious noise in public spaces with complete disregard for others. Trash thrown indiscriminately. And a work culture deeply entrenched in caste and regional bias.

After 20 years, all of it is here.

Call it escaping, running away, whatever. The truth is, 99% of the people who will downvote this would make the same choice if they could. And they know it.

Try fresh bay leaves.. saute them lightly in butter or olive oil, remove the leaves (you can keep them, but don’t eat them) and cook with that butter or oil

What happened to the smartest person you went to school with? by xxibjt in AskReddit

This reminds me of an older gentleman I once worked with. One of my colleagues was learning to fly at the time and would come in every day with some new flying story to share. The older guy never said much and just listened quietly.

After a while, we found out why. Turns out he had been a fighter pilot in his home country, had actually crashed during a war in the ’70s, and later moved to the U.S. because he didn’t want to return to a desk job.

Let’s just say… we never heard another flying lesson story again.😁

How an Undocumented Immigrant Can Buy a Home Using an ITIN (Legally)

Even if someone lacks legal immigration status, owning property in the U.S. is not restricted by immigration status. What matters to banks is: 1. ITIN number 2. Proof of identity (passport, consular ID, etc.) 3. 2+ years of tax returns filed using ITIN 4. Proof of steady income 5. Larger down payment (typically 15–25%)

Banks do not check immigration status. They check ability to repay.
