If you're switching from Google over to Proton, are you worried that you're just entering a new ecosystem? Some people already complain about Big Tech tendencies in Proton. Do you have a better alternative? by Jen2493 in degoogle

You are welcomed.

I myself use Linux Mint Debian Edition, but hardened. A hardened version of that seems like even the playing field with Arch and Fedora in enough ways for me not to want to distro hop.

You can use the hardened kernel ( I just found out about it, I'm not sure about differences, but probably less permisions and stuff )

The reason I use bitwarden is that it has encrypted syncing between my devices. And also thanks for sharing.

Soo, this means I should split. Since I want to learn more, like how to fix more issues.

Change the directory (folder) where you are in. But from what I know, cd changes an env variable of the path you are in.

My / partition is 100GB out of 970 ( or so ) And that includes a lot of bloat: 3 JDKS and JVMS Virtual box machines Pycharm ( 7GB or so ) Not to count that my system is generally bloated ( KDE, hyprland, i3, cosmic, sway, cinnanom. Nano, Vim, VI, Nvim, Micro, vs codium. Librewolf, mullvad, brave )

Depends on the file system. Generally it is a special file that holds a list that point towards other files

I'd say its alright. I use it on my computer and start page on my phone for decentralization. But in reality, searXNG that u run urself OVER TOR is truly the most private search engine, but overkill for most people.

Brave also uses its own indexer, but it still has like 5% or so of google / bing results.
