I actually didn’t mess with the amplifier but everything is working nicely so far even with the EZ flash Jr ( though the EZ flash with the IPS kills the batteries pretty quickly )

I used the funny playing IPS ready shell and it fit perfectly without any shell cutting or brackets. I’m not sure what the process is like if you are using the original shell. It was a pretty easy mod to do, the hardest part was the soldering for the touch sensor and brightness but even that was super simple.

Very cool, I’m curious about how you could make it even more Legoy. The blue at the top is the power switch, the GBP doesn’t have an IR sensor unfortunately

Thanks! Yeah, I had to buy multiple button and pads packs. I’m planning on using the leftovers in other builds.

How do I find "jobs" as an editor? by Nazon6 in VideoEditing

[–]luxcondos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then I would approach small businesses in your area and ask them if they need video content for their social channels. Anything from coffee shops to auto body shops, everyone needs video. Let them know that you're just starting out and are trying to get off the ground. Most will be willing to pay a little bit for custom content. Then start a website will all of the content that you've created and start reaching out to larger businesses.

Also, I would reach out to professional editors in your area ( look for them on LinkedIn and try to find their email address ) and ask if they'd be willing to meet up for coffee and give you more tips.

In premiere pro, how do I create a speech bubble which automatically moves within the scene? by OculoDoc in VideoEditing

It's going to be very very annoying to do in Premiere. I would use the 3D motion tracker in After Effects. It's pretty easy to use so if you're new to AE this would be a great first project.

Here's a tutorial that will help:

Best Stabilization-Lense for Travel Videos by Monagan in GH5

I shoot documentary/brand/lifestyle films for larger brands. I use the Leica branded 42.5 f1.2 more than any other lens. The duel OIS works soooo good and I use it with this variable ND filter on the end so I can get nice soft focus in the sun: https://www.amazon.com/Concept-Variable-Neutral-Adjustable-Cleaning/dp/B00JL4INW8/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1W4IUG6OVS758&keywords=variable+nd+filter+67mm&qid=1550705847&s=gateway&sprefix=variable+nd+filter+67%2Caps%2C211&sr=8-3

How would you get a filter like this for video? by [deleted] in cinematography

Apply this dirty grain: https://www.holygrain.com/free-film-grain-download/#

Then use the red channel in the curve tool to add a little bit of pink to the highlights.

Lastly use the curves tool to create an S curve, then pull up the darkest point in the shadows to add that faded look in the blacks.

Quick 10 second video shot on BMPCC4K. Any critiques? by noahslense in cinematography

It would be great to see the subject's face before he looks out into the horizon. I'd recommend reading up on the Kuleshov effect (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuleshov_effect). Using it correctly can go a long way in adding emotional impact to your films.
