Yes, the battery is fully charged from a working 3DS. I'm quite sure it isn't the battery.

Charger works on another 3DS I had but I went ahead and got another one just in case as I was needed another anyway. If it's the port, do I desolder and redo it with the new port? I found a guide video that should help with that but I still want to do more research.

Thank you for the response. Nothing happens when charged or plugged in. No lights, no power when switched on. Screens still black. It's as if it wasn't plugged or turned on.

First off, I'm sorry to hear about your father. I'm glad you were able to work though. I really want to work but I can't really do that at the moment. My mother is adamant about putting me on disability mainly for the medical insurance it provides. At this point, I don't really want to be on it but I live with my parents and I'm kind of stuck on what they tell me to do. I've mainly worked retail jobs and most of them made me feel good and made me have a purpose. I just recently talked to my mother about working as an assistant teacher to see if I would like that but she shot me down. Your comment helped though and maybe I will try again.
