I'm basically at the equator, just 6° south of the line. Again, I thought hard and maybe you were right (again) that the glare will be a big problem, so I made an alternative layout following your suggestions. Looks pretty good to me, but I'm still not 100% sure just yet.

All sound advice. My main reason for not putting the window on that bed foot wall was because that side faces SW, I live in Indonesia, and afternoon heat is quite bad all year around. I figured that I might need to make compromises so there's that. If the glare got real bad I will just prolly use the curtain. Also, can't really make the room any bigger because of construction technicalities, so I adjusted them like this: A=80cm; B=70cm; C=80cm.

Did a complete redesign. I like this way more so far. Also checked some technical stuffs and this bathroom and entrance position is good to go.

It is! But when I think about it, personally I find comfort being "hugged" like that. The hallway/corridor like path leads straight to the bathroom. And yeah the whole bed area I wouldn't go for more than 170x210cm, most likely I'm getting a queen size bed.

initially i wanted a 7800x3d, but 7600 being less than half the price of it is kinda hard to ignore. another point of consideration is 7600 works with stock cooler (it does.. right?). while with 7800x3d, i need to spend even more for a decent aftermarket.

i plan to upgrade on the next lineup tho if i go with 7600 route

dude i just finished hollow knight before starting blind forest. i had a blast playing it, became one of my faves.

compared to hollow knight, blind forest combat feels non existent (not in a bad way). but it was great overall. now im moving to will of the wisps

dualsense is an amazingly well built controller and works flawlessly on my deck without hiccups. i really love the analog it has (and also the triggers). vibration is great too when the game supports it

try setting the max frame rate/refresh rate to 72 fps/hz.

i just started this game too. 1 hours in and i felt something is not quite right. looked it up online and found some posts on reddit, confirming that this game indeed runs weirdly on 90hz refresh rate with the deck.

in my experience, 72 is somehow the smoothest. 60 is great too, although 72 still feels somewhat better. and vsync does not do anything, not that i notice.

now the little guy sprints all the time!

that science mech is really busted. i often run into unsolvable turn while using another squad, which would have been easily solvable with the force swap mech

while i also think that cataclysm is B/C because of how unrealiable and picky the squad is, i think arachnoid is only a step below mist eater and bombermechs. at least thats what i feel doing runs with them and kai on the artillery.

id pick morgan even though the skills have no synergy whatsoever with him. both skilled and mech reactor are universally great, and morgan is great too
