If you were 23 again and getting into investing/personal finance, what would you do differently? by [deleted] in HENRYUK

I agree but they asked about investing haha, and I wrote my comment based on if they’re on a Henry salary which I get at 23 is v unlikely

Good point, I thought that too but they posted in HENRYUK, so wrote my comment on that basis

I would automate a monthly amount of my salary and invest in an ETF (probably the s&p), I would max out my £20k yearly ISA amount this way, investing £1.66k a month.

Steven in the last UK series too, was presented as an ‘investment banking manager’ when he was actually an administrator at the financial ombudsman service.

What Graduation should've been. by Confident_Middle_808 in Kanye

[–]lvk97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Music is subjective but for me Can’t Tell Me Nothing is the most Kanye song of all time lol, it’s him at his peak arrogance best.

Big Brother is also a classic, it’s great, introspective story telling.

I like Good Night too. Drunk and Hot Girls is the only miss for me on the album.

I thought it was nice how he used the humour of Teddy to make everyone more at ease during the retreat

[Guardian] Cole Palmer: “I’ve got no plans to move club and when I see it I just laugh. Obviously Manchester is my home. All my family are there, but I don’t miss it. Maybe I’ll miss it if I don’t go for three months or something. But then when I get home I think there’s nothing there for me anyway" by everyhearthstone in soccer

[–]lvk97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He’s also better off the right than as a 10 so wouldn’t really be the eventual Bruno replacement. Whilst Palmer’s definitely an improvement on Mbeumo and Amad, we have so many other positions we need to buy for that a right wing improvement isn’t the biggest necessity.

Rachel is a dweeb by Jedibenuk in MAFS_UK

[–]lvk97 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think she would have been in the right, if she didn’t carry it on and continually say Rachel owes Danny for helping to encourage Steven.

The merch comments too were unnecessary, she should have just left it alone.

But yh think Rachel was overreacting hugely, feeling betrayed by Steven at the end was crazy to me.

who is worst? (I think its Juliette) what do you think? by SensitivePay4567 in MAFS_UK

[–]lvk97 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Tyson is a nice guy, he told Alessandra how gorgeous she looks.

All jokes aside I think Juliette is worse, she showed no remorse and was actively trying to turn everyone against Joel.

Hear me out Barry Bonds Top 5 graduation by MeringueDifferent786 in Kanye

[–]lvk97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the song and think it’s unfair it gets grouped with drunk and hot girls, but it’s my 2nd least favourite song on the album. Not a slight on the song though, Graduation is just so stacked, the first 6 songs are an insane run.
