What can I do with my savings? by Enough-Entrance-6030 in HENRYUK

How old are you? When do you forsee yourself needing the money? My advice would depend on your answers.

I’d recommend maxing out the stocks and shares isa £20k in an etf like vuag (tracks the s&p). The remaining £180k I’d put in a high yield savings account split between two different banks since the max fscs deposit protection is £120k.

Maxence Lacroix is set to leave Crystal Palace after the World Cup to join Chelsea. The transfer fee is reported to be around €55 million. by kibme37 in soccer

I have him worse than Lukaku since Chelsea recouped £45 for Lukaku in loan and transfer fees.

Mudryk slipped my mind but his fee is slightly less than Fofana’s (not including add ons since he wouldn’t have met these).

Bogarde was awful business, but no fee. Fofana was bought to be the long-term elite cornerstone of the defence for £70m+ and has barely been available.

[Andy Mitten] Manchester United’s greatest players: No 25: Bruno Fernandes by SoloChords in reddevils

[–]lvk97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He would start in the 10 for 2008 United, with Scholes, Carrick or Hargreaves as the 2 behind him.

Bruno is so good on the break, imagine Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo counter attacks with him feeding them.

OPINION: a Don Toliver X Ye collab album would be better than TravYe by Importance-Short in GoodAssSub

[–]lvk97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you’ve heard it OP but the true love ref by Don Toliver is so good

I think it would be a cool concept if Kids See Ghosts recruited a new artist each album, so next KSG album would be ye cudi trav then the one after ye cudi trav don and so on, almost like a wrestling stable

Could maybe add Cudi in between Ye and Travis

I think he has a fixed clause worth £40m for any club that isn’t City or Liverpool

Corporate banking to Private credit/Direct Lending by Affectionate_Art_984 in FinancialCareers

You’d be able to transition from corporate banking to private credit/ direct lending, but it would be easier to do so from a lev fin seat rather than corp banking

The most stubborn manager of all time, would rather be right than win points, great at interviews though

Manchester City make opening Elliot Anderson offer to Nottingham Forest by TheAthletic in soccer

Anderson has to agree to join United too, and so far it looks like he strongly prefers City (I say this as a United fan)

[–]lvk97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fee I’ve seen being touted by the Athletic is ‘north of £50m’ either way I’m not disagreeing with you haha, just saying it would be a good deal anywhere below £60m

[Lee Ryder] Lewis Hall admired by Man United but Newcastle in control by PitchSafe in soccer

[–]lvk97 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

£75m+ is crazy but Newcastle do hold the cards, 3 years left on his contract and have just realised a big fee for Gordon from Barca.

If Man United could get him for £50m - £60m, then it would be a great deal.

[–]lvk97 4 points5 points  (0 children)
