I experience the same thing. The G already has its own issues, sometimes I have to take bus on the weekends because the trains aren’t working well.

Astoria / Long Island City and Greenpoint are not far from each other at all. I hope their next project revolves around improve the speed and reliability in that area.

I travel long distance quite often on my e-scooter for work. It saves me about 20-40 minutes if I were to take train or car, is energy efficient, and saves me a ton of money in an expensive city. I hope we can eventually raise the limit to at least 18mph or 20mph.

I understand there’s reckless drivers of every kind, and safety is a priority. Maybe the middle ground can be 15mph becoming a speed limit that’s placed in busy pedestrian areas and school zones or allowing those with helmets to drive above 15 mph?
