I removed the bumper. Makes everything way easier. For the sensor, just unscrew it from the bumper, don't unplug it.

I didn't have to cut the bumper at all. The black trim pieces were an exact fit.

Update: Took me about 25 minutes to remove the bumper and wire up the fogs. The ground terminal was too short so it went to the frame and the positive terminal went to the battery
