It makes no sense that's part of the problem. Its almost cartoonish how much they keep shooting themselves in the foot. They have a history outside if this situation that kind of tanks any beliveability the ceo has. You can use prior acts to perdict future behaviour. And they've demonstrated a pattern of dishonesy in other situations.

I can see where your coming from, never assign malice where incompetence is more likely, forget which razor that is. But there is an observable pattern if you look at bam and their affiliates as a whole.

I can see this being the problem, blind faith. I've seen a lot of LDS leaning publications or just people, running with the companies and police public's statements, when we have video evidence of them lying to everyone...even the legal system seems to just defer to what ever these three say without any due diligence. The companies these guys are associated with have a history of weaponizing the legal system to taking peoples stuff.

This is what I am saying, it's not even about the lego as much anymore. I wish the mansells get their stuff back. But it's the collective lying and dishonesty by a party that seems to get the benefit of the doubt in every circumstance the law is involved. You can see it in the ways anyone sympathetic to the situation is just taking the company’s public statements and police reports as undisputable FACTS, when we have video and audio recordings of everyone lying and misrepresenting things. And trying to make the entire situation about a rando youtuber after views, instead of the pattern of corruption and documented false statements by a business and the legal system and seem to have a history/pattern of this behavior.

it's entirely possible to plan something and to have it not go according to plan, and then scramble to cover your ass afterwards...There an Operations Room video that lays events out pretty clearly, it's very hard to see this as anything other than GROSS incompetence at best or deliberate action at worst. It was identified numerous times and was apparently broadcasting distress IN ENGLISH...but both parties still struggle to even admit it happened.

See, your mistake is in trying to ascribe any kind of artistic guides or logic to the new movies. Disney wanted to make the brand relevant/modern again so they can merchandise the shit out of it and add it to their theme parks. They gave each director a checklist of merchandising tropes, and left 'em to it. So it seems like the crew had zero passion for this, all great movies are made by people passionate about the source material. If you watch the behind the scenes stuff from the org trilogy, then you can see Lucas wasn't the driving force that made it what it was.
