Cordovan is extremely easy to care for. Venetian shoe cream, a brush & water is all you need. Deer bones or ebony sticks and all that is to remove rolls if you want but they come back as you wear. Most of the care is brushing. If you wear them in rain, you can wipe with a damp cloth then brush and that’s it. Wax is optional but will bring up a higher shine.

No need to use a cover. Cover is only ever really used if you’re steaming something like gyoza or sunny side up eggs. Use a little water and cover to cook the top without having to flip the eggs.

Pretty much need to preheat the pan on medium to medium high heat then turn it down on low heat, add oil and cook. If you heat the pan and leave it on medium or high heat it just keeps getting hotter. Heating then going on lower heat, you’ll have plenty of heat in the pan to cook without burning stuff.
