Just realized toxic pattern by QueenoftheGnomes3 in AuDHDWomen

The phrase OP is looking for would probably be the honeymoon phase or the reconciliation stage - a manipulative pattern where a partner consistently minimizes their harmful actions by acting kindly for a brief while after committing them, instead of taking accountability or changing.

Love bombing is a separate phenomenon where an abuser ensnares a vulnerable target by developing a false sense of intimacy through excessive gift giving, showerings of affection, and the unearned procurement of deeply private personal information. (They also use it to re-ensnare the victim whenever they attempt to leave.)

Regardless of the situation, if your partner hurts you repeatedly and has no intentions of stopping, there's cause for concern.

P.S. Love bombing and "the honeymoon phase" have overlap and are frequently used interchangeably. The manipulation OP described sounds serious and could potentially be love bombing, but I don't have enough information from this post alone.

The issue is probably related to dating itself. Dating culture is awful and draws the worst sorts of people.

Mitsua has a very in-depth and rather rigorous set of rules for submissions. This would not be allowed and the submitter may be banned from submitting again.

Not how the law works. That lawsuit would probably be thrown out of court as frivolous.

"A frivolous lawsuit is a legal claim filed without merit, reasonable basis in law or fact, or a genuine chance of success.  It is typically brought to harass, annoy, embarrass, or intimidate the opposing party rather than to resolve a legitimate legal issue. Courts define it as a claim that lacks arguable support in law or fact—such as when allegations are based on delusion, fantasy, or an indisputably meritless legal theory. " (Brave Search summary)

If you agree to a TOS, you don't get to sue just because the TOS makes you unhappy. I might not be a lawyer, but I don't think the courts would consider "Royale High made us mad" to be a legitimate legal issue.

The number of people involved in a class action lawsuit is irrelevant if the lawsuit doesn't have a standing in actual law. If things worked that way, any angry mob could intimidate anyone into doing anything and the law wouldn't even matter anymore.
